Do women still get that biological urge to have babies, is it mostly a pressure from society, or does liking baby pictures on Instagram fulfill their need?
I think everyone eventually settles because it seems 100% impossible to have person A,B love each other as much as the other does, they just settle for different reasons. One person will care less and it all goes to shet. Everyone is looking for their Mr or Mrs Instagram model.
I guess something that sticks with me is... she isn't yours, it's just your time with her.
Tldr, make money.. and then fuk bishes.

It's also very dependent on the context of said control - establishing an initial boundary by putting your foot down decisively and firmly, if framed and delivered properly, won't be taken as insecurity in my opinion. There is no coaxing, There is no "Framing it"...it simply will not be an option on the table for her. She wouldn't go to RSA because she wouldn't want to be without him...not because he told her not to.
You can "Frame" things all you want, say it however makes you feel better, she's still going to look at you like some insecure little b1tch.
"So I can't go somewhere because you're scared of other guys...K, gotcha".

I can only draw from my own experience, but a girlfriend of mine, who had a history of traveling abroad for 4-6 weeks at a time with her friends prior to us dating, brought up that she was planning another trip to southeast Asia for the following spring. I immediately put my foot down and established a boundary in what was previously uncharted territory. I explained that the trip would come at the cost of our relationship, as I didn't emotionally invest myself in people who deemed it appropriate to be absent from their partner for extended periods. I was very calm and collected; businesslike, but completely unyielding and firm. It was actually very well received. I didn't explicitly tell her to cancel her trip, just indirectly reminded her that she was essentially replaceable and I wouldn't hesitate to do so if she violated what I felt were the terms of our relationship. She cancelled it without question and never attempted to cross the boundary again. There was no lasting resentment of any kind, she just became more attracted and attached to me. Maybe that's a rare example, so your mileage may vary, but I think the logic is generally sound as long as it meets the criteria I mentioned above (proper dynamic, proper context, etc.).

That's why serious relationships @ 20 are retarded. No one wants to settle down and give up on new experiences for the rest of their life @ 20. And they won't. Which is why the relationship will fail.
On the other hand, if you don't go into those relationships, you won't have experience and won't be able to form relationships when you're older. So, I guess heart ache is just part of being human.

If my GF wanted to go on an exchange student trip for months at a time Id dump her or at least take a break. Leaving for that long is selfish in a relationship, you have your entire lives to travel the world together, why do it when only one partner can go?

Studying abroad is pretty much a death blow to most relationships. It raises questions about why one person wants to go abroad and leave their SO behind for a significant period of time. The person going abroad pretty much wants to have fun and new experiences, go out more, possibly hook up with an 'exotic' person from a different country, etc. The "omg this is the only chance I have at this in a lifetime" mentality takes over. Meanwhile the person back home might start getting concerned/jealous, might inquire about more details than the other person cares to give, and the person studying abroad starts to resent their SO back home for being so 'nosey'.
Even if someone completely loves their SO and has innocent intentions in going abroad for a few months, there comes a point where they are putting their own interests forward at the cost of jeopardizing the relationship (due to suspicion, jealousy, time apart, potential cheating, etc.). Anyone can cheat/do questionable things in the right scenario, part of being a good partner is not putting yourself in those scenarios in the first place.

Well this thread has certainly made me more aware. My current gf, while I was her first time, she just seems to have difficulty showing affection - although maybe it is because of her past with her parents so I am giving her the benefit of the doubt. Everything about her is 10/10 perfect and I literally couldn't find a better girl like this with a brain, morals, etc. if I tried, but there are still so many red flags and unknowns that I can't help but hold her at arms length. As she is now, totally perfect wife/keeper material but as they say "if it's too good to be true, it just may be". She hasn't introduced me to anyone in her life. I chalk this up to her being a very private person (doesn't even use social media) who is very shy, single child, and was born in a different country. Very cautious/careful, which is why she could never randomly hook up in the past.
Just once I told her that I love her. She couldn't say it back at that time. I remember after we did it (it being HER first time) I told her I feel so lucky to be her first...she told me she was so happy she waited for someone special like me. Then a week later I believe she said she loves me but in a very shy quiet manner I could barely make out (probably hormones/oxytocin going on plus being very strong feelings - as she's never experienced these things before) so she could just be really shy and that's who she is as a person right now - cold, cryptic, hasn't developed far enough to know what she's feeling/not feeling. I wouldn't yet tell her I see her as all those other things mind you, but she really is that perfect and ideal girl to me. People are "afraid to be real with each other these days" (my gf actually said this once herself...) to let someone know you're 100% invested in them emotionally and that goes for BOTH men and women. Still really sad we have to play these games to give us an insurance policy, really. And if she is genuine to me, then I feel terrible about doing this. But there is never a guarantee. I need to be ready to easily move on when the time comes and be able to immediately date others and forget that person exists. I already know girls at the gym I would consider 8+/10's and all I would have to do is start a conversation and get their number - guaranteed. One of them in particular always eye-fks me and makes it SO obvious. But I LOVE my girlfriend so much that I don't even act on it or do anything other then shoot a few glances to check out dat ass once in a while since she tries so hard to show it off to me. It felt like her eyes were on me the whole time last I saw her when I was rockin' my fresh out of salon haircut (probably one of the best I've had).
What's fked to me is, I think of that girl at the gym and it makes me feel better with my seemingly "luke warm gf" situation, that I in fact could move on and get with a different girl who is for sure all over me/attracted, and I haven't even said a word to her yet. Emotionally it's like having one foot out the door at all times - I still would never act on my thoughts - because I love my gf and never knew I could feel this strongly to someone who make me even want to change, better myself, and become a better person.
