May try.

I thought you were going to do all 8 ounces of nog instead of milk. I was just thinking good luck to you. That will be thick as hell if it even mixes. lol.

Known about bonus for 6 months...eager to receive (get it tomorrow).

Last night, power goes out and its 8 F. outside. Power comes on sometime last night, now furnace is furked. Furnace dude looks at and declares its a boat anchor. Get second opinion. YEP BOAT ANCHOR.

Good by sweet sweet bonus plus some savings.

That's been my morning, now I can get to work and work on this stuff till about 9 pm tonight and not work out today.

Probably most upset about not working out.

Same thing for mon-thur (I dont trust eating something on Friday I prepped sunday night). Then Fridays I usually eat a bigger breakfast and pickup a tub of cottage cheese or meat & cheese to get through the day, then bigger dinner.

My "go to" sides are Tripple zero yogart (15 prots), cottage cheese (1-1.5 cups), vegi's, PB, cheese sticks, deli meat (rolled around cheese).

Tuna one week (8 oz/day)
Chicken one week (cooked in marinar in oven, then split into 4 portions ~ 10 oz each)
Pork tenderloin one week (again, cooked in oven and covered in a dry rub ~ 10 oz portions)

Breakfast is usually 2-3 eggs scrambled, milk & coffee

Dinner varies wildly.

Thats be my diet for about 4 months now, not really burned out yet. I buy a weeks worth of lunch and haul it on Monday and eat it by friday. Repeat weekly. Makes it easy.

edit: arrrrr... that there unintentional pirate tone in me message

We're fakked this year with taxes . . . going to be a bloodbath. Only saving grace is that my wife got her severance pushed to be paid in January, so that will be on the 2017 taxes and not this year. But with my company's acquisition and the stock cash-out, it's going to suck. Only a fraction of that had withholdings taken. But we didn't know it was coming and so really no way to account for it in advance of after.

We also can shelter a little bit for state taxes. We put $40k into the kids' 529 plans last night . . . so that helps with CO. But does nothing for federal.

Eating is my biggest problem.

I used to eat breakfast every morning. Usually oatmeal. But I have since stopped eating because always so rushed in the mornings (evenings too).

I may start looking at having a few eggs every morning. Anyone ever try eggs in a microwave? Wondering if that is worth it or not.

The past couple of months, I have been pretty good about lunch. Not eating a whole lot. Usually some sort of sandwich wrap and drink. I like the idea of rolling up some meat around cheese along with a portion of chicken.

I have lost 10 pounds over the last month. So I am looking at trying to eat better altogether.

I am not a hard-boiled egg fan.

I get up in enough time to make eggs on the stove. Mornings are usually crazy at our house because my kids don't want to get out of bed. Then we have to find clothes, get them to brush their teeth, use deodorant, find their practice (basketball, football, etc) clothes, make sure homework is in their backpacks, etc, etc. Saving a few minutes here and there would be nice.
