People just are lazy kunts. Most people can't even wait for their permade meal to microwave all the way much less work and save money for the things they want. Oh you want a 60 inch 4k ultra HD tv? Well then save $100 ever pay check and you'll have it 5 months. Nope gotta have it now so they just throw it on the credit card and before you know it they're have a bad habit.

One thing I'm so grateful my parents taught me was that if you want something nice you have to work for it. The nicer something is that you want the more work you have to put in.

Only debt is mortgage crew. Use CC for the rewards and pay off the balance every month crew.
hard to hate on a fellow wings fan but....

Your statements are based on the assumption that most businesses will just magically reduce their prices if you wave a bunch of paper in their faces. Maybe for buying bikes at mom and pop establishments, but for the vast majority of major retailers, they're going to laugh in your face. Oh and good luck Western Unioning cash to a merchant when you buy online. LMAO, GTFO.

What assumption?

It is a fact that merchants build CC fees into their prices.
It is a fact that the CC company makes a higher percentage than the rewards they are offering you per transaction.

Unless you're manufacture spending ... you are not winning. Doesn't matter if businesses reduce prices or not. You're a cog in a system designed to screw you.

EDIT:

You seem to be gloating about how your not getting screwed "as bad" as the other guys because you pay your CC off and get 1.5% back or something. That's like two guys being forced to eat chit and one of them gloating that his serving is solid and not diarrhea like the other guys.

Yes, I think we all get that. You're not telling anyone anything new.

I was referring to the assumption that by merely asking for a reduced cash price, you're going to get it. fact of the matter is, you're going to end up paying the merchant fees anyways, so it's better to take the rewards in whatever way you can. Go get gas, groceries, clothes at the department store, whatever. They're not going to reduce their prices because you ask. For the day to day, it's unavoidable.

Even if that price is built in, whether you pay card or cash the total is going to be the same, so that means this dumba$$ is still losing on his 2.5% by paying cash, unless hes tryign to buy everything he ever needs from the mom & pop shop down the block lololol.

Just about the only place that matters is maybe if you are at a gas station that has separate cash and credit prices.

No, most people don't get that.

So you're essentially saying that in a free society you're okay with taking a beating so long as its not as bad as the next guy.

So you're a willing participant and part of the problem ... and you call me a dumbass. Strong logic.

That shortsightedness also shows in the fact that you don't have a clue how to negate the costs.

I don't know about your ******* chit, but I am gonna at least take advantage in this situation, like you know getting 1.5% cash back with a hidden cost(at least according to you, there's a cost) that I have no control over with. You are not a saint, stop pretending to be one. Most big corporations take advantage of you everyday, are you gonna not buy from them at all? Go live in a jungle and farm your own chit.

The guy wants a few dozens miscers to pay cash for everything because that will somehow impact how businesses globally operate and will decide to reduce their prices as a result. Let me know how that goes for you, til then I'll use my CC.

I don't know how you guys are running up 8k a month in credit card debt and paying it off. What could you possibly be buying each month at that rate to hit that high consecutively and consistently? Even if all bills are paid (mortgage, utilities, vehicle, food, gas) through your CC that's still like 3-4k total at a decent level of living. Must be making serious bank (200k+) to spend that much, not save, and just keep rolling like no big deal.

why don't you clue us all in on your ways....

I imagine it goes like this:

Mr. Faxanadu: I want to buy these groceries.

Store: That'll be $99.29, sir.

Mr Faxanadu: How much for the cash price??

high cost of living, vacations, trips, local events, toys, food, etc. It would be hard to spend that much by yourself, but as you get older and responsibilities just go up your everything else goes up too.

I believe there is something to be said about living responsibly and within your means. But this is just further evidence that debt based economy is designed to be the way it is and keep the average American enslaved for life.

I'm actually carrying a few grand in cc debt right now. Ex fuked me over in our apartment and stole a couple grand in rent money.

But it's on 0% for the next 10 months and I'll have it paid off well before then.

If you're carrying more than a grand with interest... i don't even...

I used to be one of those. When I ran outta money (no job) just lived off CC. Big mistake. Took forever to get out of it.

No CC debt now. Only use to buy chit online and immediately transfer from one acct to the ViSA.

A friend who makes good money will spend most of 2017 paying down his card. Its nuts.
