Walked off job site today. Might get fired
It's 37 degrees out, weather channel says it feels like 27. Been misting all morning. Had on 2 layers of socks.. gloves.. but my hands and feet hurt like a motherfukker since the mist was getting me wet.
Tried to stick through it and not be a pussy but after 2 hrs I called it quits and headed home. The other 2 guys were cold as fukk too and complaining but they needed the money. Yesterday it was colder but I stayed and was fine because there was no precipitation.
I told my boss and now I'm waiting for him to text me back.. A whole crew just quit on him where he was working today because he cussed them out. Not looking good.

37 degrees F is like 2 degrees C.
Edit: Try working outside in -37 C weather; like people here in Canada.

That's supposed to be cold? 37? Or even 27? I did a site visit yesterday and it was around -10 with the windchill. Get some decent gloves and boots.
And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds, for the ashes of his fathers, and the temples of his gods?

Just messing brah..logically if the weather is that bad then it is pointless and like other poster said costs owner more.

Wind occasionally knocking over the ladders, making it hard to pick up a piece of siding etc.. And -26 degrees? Yeah I'd never do that. But I'd like to think if you are born/raised in a really cold place then you become accustomed to it making you able to work in colder temps.
