I shoot my 27 as well as the 23 somehow. It also takes full size mags so there's an argument for 26/27 being the goat all around glock since they are significantly easier to conceal.

So I threw the 15" rail on the 14.5" barrel upper, looks like it wouldjustwork, right?

Calguns is full of retards. Sometimes I read through some threads on there before I lift, to get my anger level up.

Agreed. Cali gun owners can't/won't help themselves. I no longer feel sorry for them.

Yes, but people like her, as Farley pointed out, are everywhere, even in your own neighborhood I bet.

You could talk to me, someone that has the complete opposite opinion on guns as her, and that's no indication of what CA wants.

Yeah. I mean, talking to one person about anything, from anywhere, is not necessarily indicative of the population's views on that subject. Sample size and all.

But he's not wrong in that most of the people in California apparently feel the same way, or at least along the same lines.

The entire state is image based. Everyone is all about image and keeping up with the trends that are set by celebrities. Unfortunately trends right now are to be anti-gun whether it be political correctness or feminism or what ever. 2016 guns are a hobby that is primarily non-black (not gonna say white cause other minorities love their guns as well) straight male hobby so it must be bad too. I dont know why the black community is against guns but the majority is (i dont know if theyre actually anti gun, or just anti republican). The problem is honestly that t has become a partisan issue and so democrats who are democrat for all kinds of bs will vote against their own rights for guns.

Here's what gets me. Read this article about the petition to repeal the "Gunmageddon" legislation:

http://www.guns.com/2016/09/28/veto-...gh-signatures/

It claims 13 million gun owners in California. Yet they couldn't get 450,000 signatures on their petition. 450,000 would be less than 3.5% of 13 million. Really dudes?

Now look at the votes for Prop 63 in November:

https://ballotpedia.org/California_P...ine_Ban_(2016)

Not quite 5.1 million votes against. What a great turnout from the 13 million gun owners in California to help defeat Prop 63.

This is why I don't feel bad for gun owners in CA anymore.

It edged out my best score with a G19 which edged out my best score with VP9. IDK how I scored better as I went down in pistol size, but, well, I did. Those little sub compact Glocks shoot great

Being a gun owner doesn't mean anything.

We have family friends back home who all vote straight ticket democrat on everything and always have, no matter what, and are the only people I know who have ever requested I not carry a gun when at their house. They own a couple of hunting shotguns that are stored disassembled in the attic with ammo in the basement except when going on a hunt. But hey, "gun owners" right?

I know field loads are generally about the same price online vs LGS/B&M

Some of the high end duck loads are a few bucks cheaper online but if you're paying for shipping also, you're prob not saving any money

I would expect buckshot/slugs to be more like the duck loads but I'm not in the market for either so IDK

It has always blown my mind that blacks are generally anti-gun. Given their fight for civil rights, you would think they'd be by far the most pro-gun group in America.

If it wasn't for this thread, I would have never heard or known about the Gunmageddon thing. Shouldn't be a surprise that they "only" got 450k or whatever it was.

How many registered republicans are there compared to how many popular votes Trump got? It's significantly less right? Similar concept.

I'm a CA resident and I like my guns and freedoms. I believe whole heartedly that gun laws only apply to those who follow laws in general. There is a huge population of uninformed residents of this state who don't realize that keeping guns out of stores does not equal keeping guns out of the hands of bad guys. "But if they aren't in your home or a store in the first place they can't be stolen". They don't realize how simple it is to aquire illegal unregistered unserialized out of country guns through underground black market sale. Sure this may be avoided if the whole world went gun free, then created a time machine and got rid of every gun that ever existed. Aka it's not possible to stop that from happening. I had an argument in my English class after the election with a couple of students about prob 63, and both of them couldn't understand the importance of the 2a, and said it was outdated because we were in a war when it was created and they were muskets, completely overlooking the point that the muskets were also what the military had at that time, and that only 85 years later there would be another war where the same guns would be used to fight for the very freedoms that they are afraid will be taken away today. That the entire thing they're afraid of with Trump's presidency is the reason we are allowed to have guns. Perhaps they considered my points later on but It didn't seem like it was being absorbed.

My mother voted for prop 63 (and pretty much everything else most of us on here stand against...) and I asked her why she did, and if she believes in the second amendment, and individual rights, and she basically said she doesnt trust people anymore, and I asked does that include me, and she actually said yes... she literally doesnt trust her own son to own firearms and be an upstanding citizen, she would rather just see the whole right go away for everyone due to whatever bad apples have spoiled the whole bunch,

I explained how disappointed in her I am, and that I will still lay down my life to protect her above pretty much all others on earth if a situation called for it, and would she rather trust me to be there for her in need, or a cop or someone who has no stake in her survival beyond getting a call for a job, and she just doesnt get it. Its useless to try and argue the point of the second amendment protecting the first (which she clearly supports) or the second being the thing which prevents the government from tyranny or foreign powers from thinking they have an easy route to invasion, she actually thinks the cops will be there to protect her or the government is safe to trust completely and our forefathers who set up this whole system were somehow deluded in this check and balance of power, or that we have somehow outgrown it in this day and age... it was a sobering conversation to say the least.

This is what we are up against in california. Liberal agenda and thought processes have gone to the point of fear mongering and mistrust of our fellow citizens to in the majority make good choices when they dont align with the perceived safe sapce of liberal thoughts that the world can be this utopia if we just wish it so. They dont see these crazies who do bad things with guns as being the root of the issue, they see the tools used as the problem because bad choices were made with those tools, rather than admitting that the education system, mental health system, and social breakdowns have created these crazy people. The baby needs to be thrown out with the bathwater is the prevailing liberal mindset it seems.

I honestly dont know what the answer is here either, but its insane to me that we have come to this in so short a time, and I basically have to think its the liberal media that has brainwashed so many so quickly.

I am interested to see if they do more of these gap filling stories where they arent exactly the main star wars plot and characters, but are tie ins that explain what happens in the interim times and events in between the movies or pre/post dating the movies or tell backstories of cool characters like Han and Lando, or Boba Fett, or Darth Maul or whoever.

Was pretty impressed with the writing on this one.
A Boba Fett movie could be truly awesome.

They're already doing Han Solo and have cast Lando.....Boba Fett will be around 2020, IIRC.

Dont read if you havent seen it**

Spoiler!
I appreciated the fact that the story was about what sacrifices had to be made to get a vital mission done, rather than everyone just living happily ever after

Oh, I totally agree. But:

Spoiler!
they recast Mon Mothma but CGI'd Tarkin and Leah. This annoyed me.

yeah interesting choice...

Spoiler!
Yeah im thinking it was the fact that carrie and cushing are both so well recognized and iconic, and probably hard to find lookalikes who can actually act, but mon mothma was a bit part in the originals, not sure why they went that route tbh

The last place I want to be in that universe is in a locked hallway with a pissed off Vader at one end. That scene was the tits.
