100% think you should pursue a job overseas. Even if it's just for a year, it's amazing. I have family that lived in Europe working/schooling. I have friends that work overseas. I've lived 2/3 of my adult life overseas as well. It's a night and day difference from the US. Certain things are good here like how convenient everything is, food options 24/7, good roads, etc but there's amazing things to do overseas and if you want to meet a woman, it's definitely a better bet than meeting one here. -end up back at their hotel room and she has to sleep in the same bed as me because her friend (my coworker) was drunk and puked all over her own bed lol, while she apologizes for having to sleep next to me after only having just met
-ended up holding her because she was colder than a bloody vampire, made out like animals, rejected my advances towards the vagine multiple times, which I actually LIKE!
-get number, she drives me back to where I left my vehicle in the morning

UPDATE 12/17

Yesterday, I went back to the training lab where I got mega-rejected by nurse girl where I had my juicy update earlier in the thread. I still have no idea what the hell that was about. Anyway, the entire building was empty minus a few students who were finishing finals. Our entire group was there (we barely get a break this winter) for training.

I'm in charge of the scenario in the same room where nurse girl was flirting with me last time. This time it's a guy though who I don't recognize as my patient. I walk in, cameras are rolling, etc and the guy looks up and says:

"Hey, you're that guy who asked that girl out!"

Fuuuuuuark. As he said it, he had a bit of a weird look on his face.

So yeah, apparently I'm recognizable. I didn't get a chance to ask him what that meant as there were 2 instructors, a doctor and a bunch of people watching from a 2 way mirror and on camera, etc. I ran through my scenario (chest pain, heart attack, etc) and as I was doing my thing, he went completely ad-lib and told me he'd taken viagra (big no-no for chest pain protocol) and all this crap. He went completely off script to fck with my entire scenario. Luckily I was on top of it, drew up my drugs to fix the issues and all that.

Afterwards the instructors said I completely nailed it but also had no idea why he went off script. The guys in my group told them the story and they got a kick out of it and then everyone started saying how he's probably in love with the girl I asked out and wanted to fck with me. Who the fck knows. Maybe the saga will continue in a few weeks when we go back again. I'm guessing I made an ass of myself but barely getting a "Hey I just...." out last time shouldn't have been that big of a deal other than the complete embarrassment.


EVENING UPDATE:

-Guy from my class tells me he's out at a local bar and his fwb has a friend who wants to meet me
-I show up at 10:30 pm because I was busy all day and wasn't going to miss the gym after so everyone at the bar is already a little drunk
-Girl I'm supposed to meet is EXTREMELY attractive and wearing some pippy long-stocking looking crap (no pants, giant socks, plaid skirt) wtf?
-She instantly starts grabbing my arm, all that crap, ok
-She won't shut up, talks non-stop, completely random (and I mean completely random) off the wall stories about anything/everything
-Her eyes dart all over the room as she talks to me, makes me super nervous because I keep assuming someone is coming up behind us as she keeps looking around right behind me, whatever
-As everyone clears out, just the two of us from the original group there, she sits next to me, throws her legs over my legs, grabs my arm, starts talking super close to my face
-She gets lip gloss (minty, I can smell it) out of her purse and puts it on while staring into me eyes (lol)
-She bites her bottom lip and starts just staring in my eyes
-I go in for the kiss and she goes "Ehhhhhh" and backs off

*side note, breath smelled good, hygiene is good, no weird crap in my teeth, I just checked all this minutes beforehand, absolutely nothing going on outside of normal limits*

-I'm confused at this point and I instantly stop giving a crap and start planning my exit
-She keeps telling me stories, massaging my arm, has her hand on my thigh, keeps leaning in
-I'm not caring at this point, another 10 minutes pass and I'm over it
-I tell her I have to go home and get some sleep
-We get up, she grabs my shirt pocket (wearing a nice Arc-Teryx shirt) and pulls me in towards her
-I think she's going for a hug so I sort of turn my face and body a bit to hug her and she straight up went for a kiss and ended up getting my cheek instead of my lips
-I give a little laugh out of confusion and not fcking caring anymore and then leave

She gave me her number, says she wants to see me again, all this crap but every alarm bell possible was going off in my head. I was so confused after the failed kiss attempt. Then she goes for the kiss and keeps grabbing me, biting her lip, all that. The friend of mine and his fwb told me before I got there she kept asking when I was going to arrive. Who the fck knows. I'm so over it lol.

I know the age is a factor. Seeing how things have played out so far, my guess on this working as an actual relationship is .01%. I'm going to SoCal anyway. The only thing I did out of my way was get a hotel for the night (breaks up the trip anyway) and I get to see her. She's actually a lot of fun to hang out with in person. It's just the off time where she comes up with these scenarios in her head where I turn out to be the bad guy and then she somehow makes that real life.

The funny part is it's no different from other women I've dated closer to my own age. This has happened a few times. I dated a woman 7 years older than me when I was in my mid 20's. She told me she loved me, was confused and then broke up with me in the span of one night without a single word of input from me. It was all based on things running through her head. It's madness and it's not confined to young women.
