In defense of OP, it's a lot different being outside at that temp for 15-20 mins vs being out there for hours. It just slowly gets worse and worse.

It's 2 degrees Celsius lmao. I live in Vancouver where it never gets proper cold and 2 degrees is still nothing.

I kept my job brahs. Just called and just told him I didn't have the right gear for it and real progress wasn't being made. He told me the guys I left all stopped working about an hour after I did and that his tape measurer and other tools got fukked up because of the mud, etc. Said they worked longer than they should have. Told him I wanted to see if I was out of a job or not and that I didn't want to be a pussy and leave but my hands and feet hurt and I just need better clothing - he said nope and that we'll be working in a couple days.
