im interested in buying a silencer. currently own 9mm and 5.56mm firearms, may get a 7.62mm in the future.

it looks like I need to choose the silencer before I get on the waiting list. rather than choosing which caliber I want to get first, I was thinking about getting a hybrid (seems to work for most calibers using adapters?)

any opinions on whether hybrid silencers are worth it or not? favorite model?

if SBRs remain NFA items i probably wouldnt bother with it because i work for a national company, and its entirely possible i could get transferred to another state eventually. it would suck to get sent somewhere that I couldnt own an SBR.

I love shooting the Canik, but if this is your first pistol, or if you don't have a reliable carry gun yet, then go with the Glock. I shoot better with the Canik, it feels a lot better in my hand, but if they were both loaded laying side by side and somebody busted in my house, I'm grabbing the G19 just because Glock. I've had two failure to feeds with the Canik. There's something about the feed ramp I don't like and I don't currently have a Dremel to work on it.
