I'm having a hard time shifting my purchase priorities away from ammo ammo ammo.

Starting to realize these kind of prices and availability are probably going to be around for awhile.

Might actually start considering buying some guns for once and if I can get a half decent wrap on my work schedule maybe even some much needed professional training. It's a great time to be red blooded, gun toting, freedom loving, baby killing, slack jawed, redneck American.

Moe was asking awhile back about any update on the girls that were arrested for plotting a shooting spree at my kids' HS. The girl who was the "accomplice" just plead guilty in a deal that will keep her in juvenile detention for another 2 years and then she'll be on supervision for several years on another charge. The other girl--who was the main plotter--is still working through the system and I would imagine she won't be as lucky. Also have to think there is probably some stipulation for testimony from the accomplice against the other girl as part of the plea deal.

One of two teen girls accused of plotting to kill staffers and fellow students at Mountain Vista High School last year pleaded guilty Tuesday to one count each of conspiracy to commit murder in the first degree and murder solicitation in the first degree, both felonies. Along with a plea agreement, the 17-year-old accepted a stipulated sentence of three years in the Division of Youth Corrections — the state’s juvenile detention system — and will get credit for the roughly one year she has spent in jail since her arrest.

Of the murder conspiracy and murder solicitation charges the teen admitted to, the first is an adult accusation and the latter is a juvenile offense.

The Department of Youth Corrections sentence comes from the juvenile offense. The teen also agreed to four years of supervision upon her release from juvenile detention that will serve as a deferred sentenced for the adult charge. A formal sentencing is set for early February. Prosecutors say if the teen successfully completes the diversion, she could have the adult felony conviction sealed from her record.

When the weather gets a little nicer and you get that gun built you need to come up to my place to shoot. You can stretch it out to however far you want to.

Anyone else tried Guntec products? The billet upper I got from Primary Arms doesn't mate up with the lower worth a ****, front pivot tab is too fat and needs a good amount of squeezing to get lined up. Little slivers of the material wore off, likely going to sand it down a hair and keep it as a back up, definitely won't be buying anything of theirs again.

I've hit 3, 2 were in a 4 month stretch. Saw all of them about 1/2 a second before impact. I was pleased with not freaking out and swerving into another vehicle or off the road and into a tree. $500 was a lot while in college, but pretty minor all things considered.

it's always the ones you don't see

It's minor damage and everybody is ok but I still get upset, don't know why - money was already tight with some new professional fees that she has had to pay so it's just one more stress for the holiday season

notthat minor of damage - it's a toyota so the whole front end is plastic so it's messed up pretty good - whole bumper and maybe the front quarter panel will prob have to be replaced
