Climate change is happening. It's not immediately clear that humans are the cause. It's a fukkin natural cycle and has been for millions of years.


Of course, humans are causing lots of other problems, like crippling smog and polluted oceans. So I personally think whining about man made climate change takes focus away from things we can actually control.

They definitely can tell what the temps were in past ages by the ice layers, chemical composition of rocks, etc.

But that makes it even more stupid to think that the 100 years of human industry is causing climate change, when the same chit was happening naturally 10,000 years ago.

It's not that people don't think the earth's climate can change over long spans of time. We know of things such as ice ages, and the earth's natural cooling and warming cycles. The term "climate change denier" has very misleading meanings. Everyone can also agree that we would like a cleaner planet but the taxes, regulations, and economic destruction through totalitarian regulations that are being forced upon us in the name of climate change are BS.

Specifically look at the rapid change over the past 1000 years... where else in history does this happen? Explain the breaking of this tread around the time of the Industrial Revolution?

Please find another model that refutes this or something that disproves it... you can use any part of Earth's history. I'm open to a debate.

Personally I would question the statistical significance of best guess 'reconstructed' temperature data that shows a difference of ~0.2C between present and the Medieval warm period... and who is to say a cycle isn't much longer than 2000 years? I'd still say it's not anywhere near conclusive proof that the current change is due to human influence.

Even if humans are causing it, doesnt fuken matter. One thing libcucks dont realize is that the market is moving towards renewable energy like solar and wind. This will literally eliminate the greatest sources of extra co2

Before accepting things blindly, you should question the methodology of "reconstructed" temperature and of "temperature anomaly". This is not raw data.

In my world, any intervention study methodology has to be officially published prior to the study being undertaken. This is to prevent moving goal posts (and post hoc manipulation) based on the data results. The climate change community has no such mechanisms. They manipulate the data ad libitum.

Nobody says "Climate change doesn't exist", what people say is "The climate has always been in a state of change, and it's the height of human hubris to assume we're having any kind of effect on it."
