Had a bad/good day at the range today for pistol league. Been a consistent 242-243 shooter lately....but couldnt break 240 to save my life today.

But did get a chance to get some trigger time on a souped up competition Glock and a custom one-off 1911 from Les Baer.

Shooting sucked, but new toys were fun.

Side note....Glock had a 2 lb trigger. HOL-E FUK..... all I could think about were all the arguements here about the safety of light triggers. I'll just say this, Farley wins. No question about it.

Geisseles are fine, and I have several of them, along with CMC, BCM, ALG, etc. but I think they represent the older generation of technology. After trying out these new Elftmann triggers I have a whole new idea of trigger feel. They are ridiculous. They start around $250 but you get a lot more for your money than a Geissele. Be the first on your block.

This is the correct answer. If you're spending 250....go Elf or AR Gold

But the Geiselle's can regularly be found well under 200

There are arguments about 3.5 vs 4.5 lbs AR triggers.

From TTAG:

http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/201...rs-not-guilty/

Just before 9 a.m. on February 19, 2015, police executed a SWAT no-knock raid on Ray Rosas’ home in Corpus Christi, Texas. They had a warrant to arrest his nephew, and to search for drugs. Rosas had been threatened by gang members for testimony he had given. His house had been subjected to drive by shootings. At the trial, it was disputed if the police shouted “Police!” or if they did so before or after throwing a flash bang grenade through a window into Rosas’ bedroom.
Rosas responded to the grenade and the breaking down of his door with gunfire from a Glock .357 Sig with a .40 cal barrel installed. He fired 15 times and made five hits on three officers, all of whom survived. The hits were to extremities. The most damaging was one shot to the upper leg near the groin.

I was taking a quick picture on my lunch break on the day of the Trumpenning. I barely had time to get the rifle out of the wall, get my deplorables pin on, and post a picture. Honestly, after eating a Coney Dog and tatertots, my mouth was greasy as ****. Had no idea it was there.

I guess that if posting that picture gives other MFC members a chuckle then it gives them a chuckle.

Why? Because he isn't competent enough to have a gun with a 2lb trigger?

On another note, anything under ~3.5lbs on a Glock trigger feels like absolute garbage.
There's only one way to get a Glock trigger that light, and that's going way down on striker spring weight a **** load. And that makes the trigger feel like complete mush with absolutely no real break. Sucks ass.

Another reason why CZ > all. Even with sub 2lb triggers the break is still clean as glass.
