If these mags run with 100% confidence (I never achieved that with the 12 round Glock mags) my G19 is going to be lonely a great deal of our warmer weather, I suspect

It's only 2 more rounds but 13 seems pretty solid, and so short, yet a full grip

Any reason to pay more for a Magpul CTR carbine stock over a MOE carbine stock?

it has a secondary locking mechanism that gives it a far more secure feel when fixed.

EDIT: Yes, I have one on mine. Much preferred. In my opinion its the best quality stock for a good price.

Have a strike eagle on a carbine RRA, accurate scope but not a huge fan of that busy of a reticle. It works though. Just ordered the 1X vortex dot.

I'm at 22gr Varget with the 77gr Bergers. I literally found a nice load over a year ago, and never loaded anymore for it. The upper was in my safe with no optic or lower since February of this year. It had the 6-24 PST on it, but it was way over scoped. Someday I'll have either a night force or vortex 2-10 on it. Waiting to see how much I actually use it first.

Depending on what I have left after sight in and shooting a group I'll probably shoot at 300, 400, and 450 with it to see if I can ring some steel tomorrow. I wish I had a chrono to do some ballistic calculations.

Just curious. Anyone use those forsaken cable style locks that come with new firearms?

I noticed mine is labeled "Approved for California."

It would hinder attempts to defend oneself.

Not a chance. Might be good if you have kids around and no safe. I think some states mandate that they have to be sold with a gun lock. May be wrong though.

Good to know, my dad just bought some of those 77s and hasnt worked up a load yet. Those have to be real close to MAX OAL for fitting in the mag. Varget is great though for those heavy loads, best part is it's so stable. POI is the same in 80 degree temps as it is 0 degrees. Should be a great weekend for shooting though going to be mild. Vortex 4-12 scopes were about $150 on Amazon, hard to beat that glass for the price and warranty. I have vortex scopes that are every bit as clear and repeatable as scopes costing 5X the price. I don't think I'll ever buy another high end scope, the difference is just not noticeable to me. Also less pucker factor actually "using" it without $1000 optic on top for me.

Nope. Usually leave them in the box the gun came in. Guns go in safes. Think they are required to be included. If not, it's likely a lawyer recommendation from the manufacturer. The Ruger padlocks are nice, the stupid little cable locks are pretty worthless.

Well, most 'gun people' have a number of firearms not kept loaded and ready for immediate defense that are not-uncommonly locked up, but usually they go into a safe/RSC/locked cabinet or something and the cable locks that come with the guns go into a rubber/plastic storage bin never to be seen again.

They can come in handy for securing some containers for flying with a firearm, otherwise IDK
