FUKKING LOL @ Boomers dissing Millenials
Back in the day, baby boomers that graduated HS could get a union job with healthcare, pension and enough income to provide for a family of 4 on a single wage. If you graduated from college, as long as you can talk without stuttering you can get a great job. These are all undisputed facts from speaking with boomers.
So what do the baby boomers do?
brb blow up the economy in 2008, with the developed world still recovering anemically
brb release Quantitative Easing, once, twice, a third time; every country is printing money uncontrollably
brb inflating asset prices across the world, making the rich even richer and the poor even poorer
brb unaffordable housing
brb college/university tuition skyrocketing vs real wages
brb student debt soaring, all-time high burden among new grads
brb spiralling healthcare costs
brb destroying arable land and the environment for growth at all costs
brb people are forced to work unstable, PT/contract jobs. underemployment at an all-time high, labour force participation at an all-time low
The baby boomers then turn around and call us lazy, entitled, whiny, etc...
FUKKING LMAO
I recognize that we millenials have our own issues to work on. We're far from perfect. But has a generation screwed up this badly considering what they were given? Remember how the US gov't almost shutdown and threatened refusal to raise the debt ceiling?
Pissed off that our generation is catching criticism from a group that needs to look in the mirror and shut the fukk up.
I'll leave you with this stat: "Even at Donald Trump's promised 3.8% annual growth rate, the percentage of children able to outearn their parents rises to only 62%. Many economists predict that the US is likely to grow at around 2% a year."

Every generation likes to think they're better/smarter than the previous generation and the one following. That's never going to change.

They complain about us being pussies, but they're voting in ass holes who want to throw kids in jail for doing chit that was coming of age for them. Every time we try to fight back against them they pull the "disrespectful" card and then wonder why "we dont stand up for anything anymore". They're also the most entitled customers in any industry. They're also fighting their brothers and sisters in court for inheritances despite having pensions already.
Got kids out here working 3 jobs to pay rent and are overqualified by the time they finish college. They pissed away a good economy. And now they want to slow down and partition off the internet to their fellow CEOs so they can rip us off further for fastlanes.
Even the Greatest Gen of Americans said they should have never been born

Yea sure but my generation and a buch of self obsessed depressed kunts unable to separate their physical lives from the virtual, 90% on some from of mood medication with precious feeling that are hurt by anyone that disagrees with them.
Edit - you can't blame any generation for making mistakes that no one has made before in situations that no generation has faced before
Everyone from every generation sucks because humans suck

A good comic pointing out the absurdity of older generations hating on younger ones. We have problems, but this is just the way of the world

You ever heard of financial crisis of 1929? The depression years of the 30's? Only a fukking world war got us out of that chit
Didn't environment get destroyed during the industrial revolution? Tons of young workers died of cancer. Cities like London smelled like trash, the poor got exploited in terrible conditions, while the rich got richer. Sounds familiar?

There is only one generation that deserves a lot of respect, and there aren't many left. They are called the Greatest Generation and that's no joke. They grew up during the depression, and it was 10x worse than anything we saw, and there were no safety nets when it first happened. People seriously were starving and homeless, got sick with no help and died. They went through all of this, only to have to go fight the most deadly war in history. Then, somehow they came back and build the greatest economy in the world. They made one mistake, and that was spoiling their kids and turning them in to a generation of entitled *******s, we call baby-boomers. Most of the things the baby boomers take credit for, such as the civil rights of the 60's, were actually due to the efforts of Greatest Generation, the BB were nothing but college kids making a stink protesting and crap. They actually did nothing.
Baby boomers took everything their parents made, and milked it to past the limits, and now we have to pick that crap up. It's kind of like one man starts a business, and it is going good, then his kids take over.... the BB'ers are the kids.
With that said, I will say the Millenials are doing some cringy crap. These failure to launch snowflakes with their safety pins who can't figure out what gender they are and crying because their candidate didn't win the election. The only thing the BB'ers had going for them was their dad and mom whooped their asses when they got too bad, these milenials have never even been told no before.

Great discussion thus far.
One point to note: If baby boomers call their children spoiled, entitled, pussies, etc., isn't that some of your fault? Obviously we millennials need to sack up and work through the tough times, but aren't these character flaws a reflection of their poor parenting skills?

baby boomers are geriatric expensive trash and nothing else.
Fuking lmao at the advancement of medical technology. Sure these old fuks will live a lot longer but given their chitty attitude and how they treat people in service jobs, its best to leave them alone altogether.
Also, I agree with the labor participation rate at all time high. 95 million people are not in the labor force and my ass they want to enter again to put up with trash customers all of the time. Underemployment is legit seeing as I have to go outside every now and then to get carts at the grocery store I work at just because some of the baggers are middle aged and don't have the energy like they used to.
edit: its gonna be hilarious as hell to see how these retired jackasses will try to sell their homes. You can buy a house in Detroit for $100 I believe but Detroit is a godforsaken city that's no better than the wild west towns that was put to rest when railroads was built past them.
Across the country millennials are living in apartments, condos, and their parent's house aren't they? Can't save money for a mortgage when that there $20k student debt gotta be paid off first. But wait, what about that new car? Ah well, I think my car can go for 10 more years.

Training dictators who would turn against us right out of Fort Benning, GA. OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
Selling weapons to terrorists. Despite Eisenhower warning us of the rabbit hole it would be.
Dividing up territories and supporting the wrong minorities to keep in the strife.

Media is determined in the most by supply and demand, we want to see success and beauty and riches, it's the same reason we created myths and legends about hero's doing this we never could
We desire aspirational images but with the ease of modern access to them we have overdone it.
It's just like sugar, it tastes good because it was rare and important to our ancestors, now it's easily available and we get fat on it.
What were once rational responses have become twisted by modern technologies ability to fulfill them to an unhealthy extent
I have a dream, that one day, my username will be ironic.

The media is a propaganda machine. It has always been. CIA has admitted it among other things. High Fructose cornsyrup could have been banned, but one bastard in charge of the decision sold out for a nice position at a certain company.
Now we have a bunch of food addicted fat fuks running around.
