Seen Emily Ratajkowski at Grand Central Market and in Arts District....cotdamn she is fine as fuk.

Saw the hottest group of girls taking pics at Urban Light. Chicks love Urban Light.

El Capitan is showing Rogue One now.

If you love the movie Swingers.....101 Coffeeshop is actually pretty good.

And everyone should go watch Marty and Elayne at the Dresden.
Marty and Elayne is one of the best shows in LA. Go drink a Blood and Sand cocktail at the bar. The only thing annoying as fuk is the hipster transplants talking loud as fuk while Marty and Elayne are performing. No fuking respect.

Probably Santa Monica, Calabasas, West LA, wouldn't mind parts of Hollywood (WeHo).

But currently live in Newport Beach so can't complain/have a desire to move.

Also big mistake that tourists make when visiting Hollywood is not eating Thai at Thai Town, hitting up the Middle Eastern chicken joints like Zankou, Ro Ro's, and Al Wazir, ice cream at Mashti Malone's, and getting a bacon wrapped hot dog.
Saw David Gilmour (pink floyd) 2 nights in a row and deftones at the bowl and it was awesome. Also saw lamb of god at the Palladium and that place is beautiful. And I will check out the dining places you mentioned, thanks!

I don't mean necessarily living in Hollywood, just nearby so the commute wouldn't be so bad because I'd go there a lot.

But yeah, it would be West Hollywood or up in the Hills there.

West Hollywood also has a lot of straight girls and Old Russians.

Franklin Village ain't bad for Hollywod. Not too many homeless maybe because it is less touristy.

You would like Los Feliz (Leonardo Dicaprio's old hood). Close to Hollywood.

Sometimes the old movie palaces on Broadway between Grand Central Market and Eastern Building have shows or events, those are amazing, absolutely stunning theaters that you would love

I was just down in LA for a few days. Stayed in Santa Monica, was pretty nice. Only went to a couple other neighborhoods so can't really say much about other areas


edit: I did an afternoon in the touristy part of Hollywood, obviously wouldnt live there

I do enjoy a trip to Sunset everytime I'm in LA, it's the only time I don't feel like a FA loser with all the catcalling I get from the beefcake gay dudes.

I lived in Venice for a couple years, west of abbot Kinney. I also lived in Hollywood by labrea and sunset. I spent most of my time living in LA in west la by Barrington and Olympic. I lived in LA for about 10 years total. So I feel very qualified to give my opinion on this matter.

playa del Rey

Anyone of those would be perfect. The first 3 are not technically LA. If I had to live in the valley I would go with studio city.

Arcadia right outside Pasadena is nice. Right by the dog racing track.

Its a nice ethnic mix of people. No white trash no ghetto thugs. Just good decent ppl of all colors.

Wish Testy was still here to tell us how great The Flats is. It is actually pretty damn nice but I can't afford mid 7 figs for a home. Calabasas is okay but overrated. Also naming of towns is stupid. Told to check out Westlake but that's a total chithole. Turns out it was Westlake Village that's a nice area.

Also notice Watts or whatver is by LAX is a somewhat nice area geographically. Looks like they trying to gentrify the area and eventually push out the poverty ghetto folks. Supposed to be the upcoming spot like a new Santa Monica. Any Cali brahs can confirm whether it's a wise decision to buy in that area?
