Women's football matches have to give out thousands of free tickets to fill a stadium, it's nice to generate some atmosphere, but you're a fool if you believe it parallels the popularity and thus money generated by the men's game. Football players mainly earn money at their clubs anyway, not from international matches. This is where the biggest disparity is. The MLS and European leagues generate far far more interest and money than any women's league in the world. In fact the lower division clubs of English football make a lot more money than top female teams.
