This is the biggest mistake your friend will ever make in his life and he will regret this decision in a couple years.

ALWAYS CHOOSE FAMILY OVER WOMEN.

I had to learn that the hard way. I met some girl, my family was against it even my mom. She flat out said don't marry that slut. I married the chick anyways and disown my family. Turns out a couple years later she is a slut and my family was right.

All of that could have been avoided if I wasn't such a dumb immature idiot and had just listened to my more wiser parents.

This could very well work out for your bro. But the chances of him regretting this later is much higher.

Women and friends will come and go, but family will always be there. That's if you have a good traditional family. If you know your parents are good wise people that are looking out for your best interest and actually "love" you. You should listen to them.

Normal, healthy people will get along with anyone. So in your situation, someone had issues.

It's not always the spouse that has issues, it may be the parents. It would be foolish to automatically side with parents if they were the sole cause of all the problems.

It's common amongst the White British Upper Class who want to retain the wealth within their own social class and therefore if it ever ends in divorce, both families get back what they put in since they are both millionaires anyway.

I don't think his father has anything against the girl personally. I think it's the fact that the family wealth and social status accumulated over the years and generations is at risk of being lost entirely if the relationship goes to chit.

The girl's dad is okay with the relationship. He's not crazy like some of them in the Middle East. But he is insistent that the guy she marries, he has to be Muslim.

I think there's a chance that both may leave their religions or families and run away with each other tbh...

Basically the Hamptons equivalent of Wales. An Upper Middle Class community amongst society that marry within their own social class.

Generations of men and women who made their money in London, NY, The Gulf, India, Texas in a variety of industries such as Banking, Oil & Gas, Dentists, Surgeons, Chartered Engineers, Regional General Managers of Automotive and Aerospace firms, etc but now have retired in the Welsh countryside and accumulate, grow and most importantly KEEP the wealth amongst their own kind through generations of "arranged marriages".

My parents were put together by their parents, and I'm pretty sure I will be selected a wife by my parents...
