The way some of these airports are set up are chit for safety reasons. Anybody can walk into the Detroit Terminal by going through the baggage claim door without going through TSA. Airports not even once.

The guy just asked how come there aren't mass shootings in Texas so I showed him there are. Shooting is a shooting, no matter what the reason is and it often involves random bystanders. Even if 90% are for reasons you mentioned, that still leaves 10% "random" shootings. 10% is still a decent number and Texas isn't some magical place where crime doesn't happen or bullets stop mid-air and fall down before hitting someone. What if this shooting was targeted too and others just died because they happened to be there, close to the real target? You never know what goes on in the killer's head or what his motives are. But sure, carry on. I don't live in Texas nor Florida so it's none of my business

Statistically of those 10% of random ones, 9% are in "gun free zones". There is crime in Texas, but if I had to break into someones house I'd pick California or NY over Texas by reason of common sense

Either way this was a "targeted" with anyone "gun free zone" being easy prey
