make sure you take 2 scoops of protein, mix with distilled water, then pour it into the toilet for maximum muscle confusion
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit softly.

I die a little inside every time I see someone on a diet like this. It took me a solid year of eating 5x times that amount of calories and a cycle of multi vitamins and I still look like ****. Understood everyone is different with different goals.

I'm on day 35 at around 1250 cal/day. Down from 290lb to 250lb. Weight loss has plateaued, though, so considering jumping up to 2000-2500 for 4-5 days then going back down.

How do you manage to comply with this diet? The only time I've run a deficit that big was when I was literally anorexic. So it basically required mental illness. Like I would cry if I even thought about eating an apple once I had hit my daily 800-calorie goal.

How do you plan to prevent rebound weight gain post-diet?

1300 calories at 188lbs??? That's damn low.

My previous cut I did 1200-1400 calories but I'm fat at 155lbs. My new cut I'm running 1600 cals.

i'm gonna need a list of supps you are on. i've been on and off EC stack for years and have never been able to go that low of a deficit and not be functional. it's not just the affects on the body that makes it hard, but also the mind. so hard to concentrate long term, staying motivated and happy, and be productive unless you are on *******.

I can almost assure you that you will not loose any dry muscle if you keep lifting.

Everyone ITT claiming they lost muscle when cutting were over-estimating how muscular they actually were to start with.

Slow cutting is nothing but a waste of time, cut hard af and bulk slowly.

Since everyone likes to bring up evolutionary explanations:
It's winter and cavemanbrah is IIFYMing on 1200kcal of digged up chit.
Would be quite useful to loose as much muscle tissue as possible while preserving every bit of fat tissue possible, because when the snow melts and you can hunt again why would you not want to be skinny-fat and weak as phuck, right?

Do you have brain fog?
Have a little, but strategic meal placing has eliminated. The worse if after a hard workout. I only do 3x5 of heavy compounds and chins/dips x3 a week. If i feel sore i take wednesday as a light recovery day

Typical day if I'm not lazy and cook
Tilapia
Chicken tenderloin
Tuna

Or steak and

98% fat free chili with no beans
Low Fat cheese sticks melted in a lavish roll with pizza sauce
2 cans of green beans and some type of steamable baged veggies

When lazy
Whole huge tub of greek yogurt mixed with Splenda and sugar free maple syrup (goat)
Box of walmart Sam choice turkey bacon
Cheese sticks
Veggies
Same chili

Also i cut drinking out completely (alcohol). Haven't gone 3 weeks without drinking whisky in years.. drinking kills my cuts by causing binges

It's probably because I used to fence in college. All fencers have one stronger arm. Or, possibly, my avatar is misleading, given that it makes it look like my arms are at all large to begin with (they're kind of lagging tbh).

why do ALL the pros stagger their deficit if it's bs?

keto made my adherence to a large deficit quite easy. The only tricky thing was getting 150g of protein whilst staying under 1500 cals

what's the point running a massive deficit unless you're in ketosis?

Body can only metabolise 400-500 calories worth of body fat unless you're fat adapted.

A limit on the energy transfer rate from the human fat store in hypo****ia.

Alpert SS.

Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM 87131-1156, USA.sialpert1@juno.com

A limit on the maximum energy transfer rate from the human fat store in hypo****ia is deduced from experimental data of underfed subjects maintaining moderate activity levels and is found to have a value of (290+/-25) kJ/kgd. A dietary restriction which exceeds the limited capability of the fat store to compensate for the energy deficiency results in an immediate decrease in the fat free mass (FFM). In cases of a less severe dietary deficiency, the FFM will not be depleted. The transition between these two dietary regions is developed and a criterion to distinguish the regions is defined. An exact mathematical solution for the decrease of the FFM is derived for the case where the fat mass (FM) is in its limited energy transfer mode. The solution shows a steady-state term which is in agreement with conventional ideas, a term indicating a slow decrease of much of the FFM moderated by the limited energy transferred from the fat store, and a final term showing an unprotected rapid decrease of the remaining part of the FFM. The average resting metabolic rate of subjects undergoing hypo****ia is shown to decrease linearly as a function of the FFM with a slope of (249+/-25) kJ/kgd. This value disagrees with the results of other observers who have measured metabolic rates of diverse groups. The disagreement is explained in terms of individual metabolic properties as opposed to those of the larger population.

I've done a 1300 calorie cut recently and I had to listen to music the whole day to keep my mind off hunger. Also I would binge one day of the week. I'm curious of your daily schedule of when you're going to eat your next meals.
