Having intervention for friend tonight.. need help

Not alcohol related, fianc related.

Long story short about 3 of us who are close to him are taking him out for burger and beer tonight to break it to him his loser pos fianc leach has been on tinder/bumble and continues to use it.

We've had issues with her before. Saying "I don't really love you", uncomfortably flirty to random guys, apparently offering a guy her number when out w a friend and his gf.

I think she's literally mentally ill and my frienis so far gone he is in denial and has low self esteem. She degrades him, says mean chit, never goes out w out her.

Oh and he bought her a real nice condo in the city in his name luckily, and a cat n dog, and he's proposing next week.. Too nice of a guy. We finally got the evidence.

Anyways, we think he's gonna freak out or get angry, any kind of advice you guys have to kinda ease the situation? She's probably coming tonight which makes it that much more chitty. But whatever.

Gonna suck to be honest, hate to see him upset. Tough workin good guy.

To top it off, her tinder app was hidden for another zip code and it says "looking for the perfect man." 100% srs

You need more proof before you do this. You need to create a fake tinder and incriminate her so that you have evidence.

That's what we are worried about. Trust me though she's a snake and her profile pics and info is def her, not a doubt in my mind. Personal stuff.

It's gonna suck big time to drop the ball, and we know she's gonna try n slime her way out of it.

Were closest friends, it needs to be done. His own mother hates her and his sister refuses to go out w those two.

We got the evidence and honestly man if he's going to propose and that slime is thinking she's gonna get a ring while on fuking tinder n bumble while he b ought her a house. No.

I'd like to think my friends would have my back.

Here's what happened when I tried this:

- Told a brah i'd seen his gf on Tinder
- He confronted her about it
- She said "hahaha, some freak must be using my pics, I loooooove you so much" or some chit
- Bitch then turned him against me saying i'd grabbed her ass, flirted, I was a kunt, etc.

do yourself a favour and stay out of it. a best buddy of mine long term relationship with a girl, got cheated on - took her back for years (4 years ago)

always was against it, after there on and off throughout this time due to this incident- i would always say throw her down the toliet regardless of any facts (she was not good for him lets say that) (month ago last time)

moral of story - doesnt even message me anymore and they may or may not be together still (likely are cuz he doesn't talk to me anymore)

some people need the truth to hit them in the face on their own accord, not to hear it from someone else. unfortunately...and even then, it may never happen.

You seem to really want her to finish with him to the point where it seems you may have an alternative motive, do you?

"We'vehad issue with her before"?

"Wefinallygot the evidence"?

It seems more like you have a grudge against this bish rather than you are looking out for your friend.

We tried something with one of my friends once. Completely backfired...Denial, rationalizing, coping, delusion....He ended up telling her everything and she then hated all of us from that point forward. Ended our 15 years of being best friends. Don't do it OP just quickly tell him the deal and that if he doesn't realize it you don't want to be friends, then stop hanging out with him and he will either a) get the picture or b) be a ******* all his life.

Finally a little over a year later my friend realized that ALL of his closest friends, especially me, wouldn't be lying to him. Realized girl was an utter piece of **** and sent her packing.

Called me in tears saying how I was right and that I was the only one who was ballsy enough to tell him first about it and how he ****ed up and he ruined our friendship for a girl that was worthless etc. etc. etc.

Now one of his friends is in the same boat and hes like "dude I finally realize where you were coming from and no matter what I say to him he won't see it and will just ignore her behavior and make excuses for it until HE HIMSELF gets it."

I asked him how it feels and he called me a dick hahah

You can choose, but the friendship is doomed when it started. Had been through 2 of these, and both turned out chit.

Told the first friend, he got really angry, cut us off, etc. We were right, but he had been a POS to us so long, we had no desire to continue the friendship. He was a dirtbag anyway, don't see their true colours till they get emotional.

Didn't tell the 2nd, he turned out to be a massive whinger, had to unfriend him on ******** because of the drama.

But to be fair, both of these people were chit people. You need to judge if your friend is a chit person or not.

She is literally going to say someone must have made that being jealous of her and might blame you guys for making it, and your friend will eat it up. IDK brah thats going to be rough as hell.

lol what no. I have a girlfriend and she's a fat cow , so no.

We finally have the evidence as in pictues; not just "hey man heard she offered to give her number to some guy", or "hey man she makes us uncomfortable sometimes how flirty she is".

No motive, she's a cow. We just finally have concrete evidence She's a pos

thanks. We got the picture And honestly, I'd hope my friends would have my back. It's only the right thing to do to tell him.

It's gonna suck though, we don't know what he'll do. Likely denial and her fat ass is gonna say it wasn't her, or some literally moronic thing. Considering, ya know, pet names are in her profile and all kinds of chit.

It's sad but it's better than seeing s good person go down this road

I don't know you or your friend, but I doubt you can salvage it. If he is an adult, then him being bitch made is not something that's ever going to change. He wasn't raised properly. I don't mean to insult your friend, just being straight with you.

I matched one of my buddies live in g/f on Tinder, screenshot it and sent him the pics, he told me to try and talk to her to see if she responds. Did it and got no response. Saw him a few weeks later and he was still with her, I asked what her being on Tinder was all about and his response made me lol,

"Oh she was out with her friends and they created a Tinder profile for her and were just messing around with it"

lol okay boyo

Oh lawd.. If you are going to do this you need to do it privately. Start it off with how good of a person he is and the dilemma of deciding if you were going to tell him or not. Maybe explain that nobody knows except the people in the room.

Your friend should ask to see her phone...... And look for himself... If she denies than its proof positive.

good point. It's just his closest friends talking to him. We're gonna say we love him as a friend and think he's a great guy who deserves more in a girlfriend.

The problem is guys follow what sucks their dick. I've tried with a few buddies marrying the wrong women but never been successful. Honestly if you guys are going to be friends for life you are going to take some Ls on this front and for the wedding and kids you have to be a team player even if she sucks. This will also happen more and more as you get older. Half the wives/fiances I know I wouldn't touch in a hazmat suit.

I would not do it in public. Do it in private where you can all be emotional and have a legitimate reaction.

As above miscers have wisely stated, you're not going to change his mind. The guy was dumb enough to invest his money/time into this sloot up until this point, and he's not going to change just because of an intervention.

There are some lessons that a man has to learn himself. Even if ya'll somehow convinced him to ditch this sloot, what will keep him from going down the same road with another? He needs to have this experience himself without any intervention. Otherwise, he won't learn anything. I went through some painful sh*t before I quit being a pushover nice guy. Nobody else could have told me differently. I had to go through that phase, have my heart broken a few times, and learn for myself.

Crazy, I had a very similar experience except my very good friends GF came onto me hardcore. Invited herself over and then opened up about her troubled relationship with my friend (her BF) then came onto me tried making out and ****, I pushed her off and told her to leave. A few days later me and her and her BF and a bunch of other people were at a party all drunk and she claimed I grabbed her ass at the party and that she felt very violated, her BF, my friend, got super pissed off at me and we havn't been close friends since.

So before I could even tell him that his GF came onto me she preemptively claimed I was the one coming onto her LOL, I never ended up telling him, cause I figured he wouldn't believe me anyway, they are still together to this day (8 years later.)

Snakes man. Some are snakes.

I like to think if roles were reversed my friends would tell me; life's too short to be w someone who literally openly wants and is willing to cheat on you.

I'm worried he'll be blind w his love but ya know what? I can sleep at night then. He's a good person genuinely; if he throws us off to side I understand and been there before over love and a woman.

But long term, we are just trying to help our buddy out.

I had to go through that phase, have my heart broken a few times, and learn for myself.
no doubt. I had to learn myself and it was very hard. But ya know what? I'm happy now with a great woman who has her chit together.

And I'll gladly tell him that he knows I was in the same boat and I went through a rough patch; but I came out okay. Just sucks he bought her a condo in city and chit.

Luckily it's in his name.
