do I win for having to lift at PF? The worst part about it is that you can't see the Tvs unless you're on the cardio machine

I am a miserable little man so I'm going to share a piece of my mind: ROM of a dip on parallel bars is 90+deg elbow flexion to near-full extension, and half repping an exercise like dips is bull****. Worse than half-squats

1:14 to 50 reps. did a bonus 51st just I case I couldn't count and didn't do enough lol

Ummm no. Half reps don't count. With minus 15 reps for PF means your neg15.

Honestly I can't tell the ROM in jbball's video. The angle of the camera doesn't allow it. With a challenge like this, there are going to be some cut corners. IMO the best thing would be to let everyone give it his best shot, then have a vote among all contestants who had the most impressive set.

Also on dips you can have full ROM on your elbows but severely limit the motion of your center of gravity. Some people head bob like crazy, extend their knees etc. Then you can cheat somewhat by having wider grip, more lean, this all makes sure that you are doing less work per 90 degree elbow flexion.

Not hating, that's just how it is for calisthenics exercises against time.
Old numbers, not as strong now :(

Didn't even think about the head bob thing till I saw it in action. When it's a timed race, this is when chit gets sloppy so I say I say throw the time element out unless it's truly applicable.

I looked at everybodies entries and went by Allianc3's previous post setting unbroken reps as the standard, and since he has the hottest avi, I say he's king. I vote Dmc1240 because he had 46 pretty much unbroken clean reps. Kimm and I second since we were the only ones who didn't try to cheat by stopping then starting again

We push-ups yet?

Come on, cheat? I believe the rules were who could do 50 the fastest not who can do the most unbroken. Strategies to do it
Differently would definitely been used. Lol. Honestly, it really doesn't matter who wins, I enjoy seeing all the entries and challenging myself every week to participate.
Oh and my bad for mentioning half reps, I guess from this point it doesn't matter anyway. Just for fun, right?

I didn't get one last week, but then again, I didn't win on BW ratio. I think iceman may have bounced from this thread once the supps were taken off the table.

I got repped by Iceman, sorry

For the dips I think Rocky probably should get it? I really liked NavyRoll's first series of 40 super clean reps in 45 seconds, but the challenge was 50 for time and Rocky owned that with more than acceptable reps. Also shoutout to Kimm and Isch for nice sets, but I don't think the 95/55 weight equivalence rule applies for a bw exercise so I'd still give it to Rocky. Even though that bastard wins too much.

The little green man with the big teethy smile means LOL, right? I agree, this is for fun but still competitive...part of the fun. Allianc3 said "max unbroken reps" or if u hit 50 consecutive, how long but consecutive to me means no rest period. I think most of us are strong enough that we can go on ad nauseum literally but that puts in too many criteria. Either base it on time or unbroken, can't be both. I think unbroken reps is better because then you don't get sloppy by trying to make everything a speed set.
