Read post above. When I actually test drove it was a weird experience being in an awd sedan. Never drove an awd car before. I just like how Audis look and the fact that they were awd was not even a consideration.

If you're into interior gimmicks the Audi is great. If you prefer how a car drives, feels, handles and the feeling you get when you step out of it and absolutely have to look back at it, you get a BMW.

But then again I'm big on interiors and BMW interior is the absolute worst.

Will do! I always heard that BMWs had great steering feel but the new ones are all electric power steering so I don't know what to think of that. I guess I will find out once I drive it.

The biggest criticism of the 4 series has been that they are too big for that type of car. You should look into a test drive first

how many people in this thread have recently driven comparable audi, bmw, merc models or is everyone just running their mouth like typical misc?

I mean unless you drive an A6, 5 series, E series (or pick another comparable line from each manufacturer) then seriously quit running your mouth, regardless of what side you are on.

I've owned BMWs, Audi, Mercs and a few Japs. And all of you retards claiming BMW has cheap ugly interior compared to a fukking CADILLAC are retarded.

Yes BMW standard 0 option interior is cheap. So is every other car out there. But buy a decently geared BMW and you'll have an amazing interior. Audi has great interiors in their new line-up as well, even though it's also shet with 0 options. Was invited for a testdrive with a stock A3 TFSI. Shet was awful inside compared to my own cars.

And after driving a lot with all of those brands, I can safely say BMW drives a lot better. People mire BMWs more as well. That also comes with a bad side. 50% of the time at red lights people will try to beat you off the line whether you are idly eating a sandwich behind the wheel or eyeballing the guy next to you.

It keeps me coming back for the lulz.

And yeah BMW is all about maintaining their look and style over the generations. BMW is driver focused and typically has these spartan interiors by design. If you don't get it, fine, don't buy it. Get your Jaguar, Mercedes, or Ford whatever... Meanwhile I really enjoy the BMW interiors and especially gauges. When I crawl into a jet fighter I'm not thinking "oh man it's tough to get into and look no bezels on my altimeter". Just lol.
