You can maintain the argument that her behavior is absolutely out of line and disgraceful, while still acknowledge the greater probability (in reality) that 19yos will likely exhibit this behavior more than those that are significantly older.

Start to be real and genuine already with those two young women. Stop already the hurt and madness you inflict upon them and yourself. Yes, you are doing this by yourself by not being honest and genuine with them, by you keeping exploiting and damaging them.
You said it yourself already, you don't care for them. So when they tell / speak out their hunch, then for God's sake tell them the truth, that they are right with their suspicion and that you just use them for sex and female attention in your life.
Stop the hurt already and start to get real with them. Also they don't have this thread to see what's really going on with you regarding them.
And btw you inflict greater pain upon teenagers and early 20 yo people than compared to cases of adults. Science has proven it already that their minds are in much greater pain when they are in stress like relationship kind and heartache etc.
Stop exploiting young people, cause they (and much older people alike) are much more vulnerable than you! Plus it does say a lot about you, your (desolate state of) integrity and your character from how you treat them.
Stop your doing already. Or keep going and get hurt back (like you got by the teenager) after you have kept hurting and exploiting both of them over and over - but stop complaining then.

I can tell you right now, there is no difference in emotional maturity between my 19yo daughter and my 39yo ex-wife. NEVER AGAIN! It was like I was like my wife was my second daughter.
Ranger, learn the signs. I can spot a BDP woman 100 yard away now and it only took me one experience, albeit it was 12 years long. How many BDP women have you dated, and you still can't seem to get away from them?
FYI, BDP is now about 20% of the female population, so maybe you should figure out why you are only attracted to 20% of the female population.
I mean, I know why you are, because I've been there, but I don't think you can handle the truth.

I think some source of my umbrage arises from the reality that there is a stark difference between the way these behaviors are handled by society and the law with respect to gender.
While I do acknowledge the matter of greater probability, I don't believe I was misinterpreting Maatkarah's attempts to do just what you stated we shouldn't. She was trying to downplay and normalize this behavior. Even further, she was attempting to blame the victim (Ranger).
The difference in intent between your response and hers is laid bare by her unwillingness to even once call out the behavior of the 19yo as not OK. Just a bunch of mental gymnastics attempting to spare the 19yo from her personal responsibility and shift the blame on to Ranger.

Interesting world view you have there.
Dude, I have been the victim of a BPD woman. I can connect to these experiences. I don't wallow in it or allow it to permeate my daily living, and I try to be honest about my role in the situation, but I was still a victim.

and, Ranger, definitely not because it seems every woman he dates is BDP. EVERYONE saw this coming, but him.

Concentration on life tasks goes out the window, focus on goals goes out the window, etc. It's important to have some sort of connection with a member of the opposite sex for sanity reasons. You might not understand this because you're a female and, traditionally speaking, you don't have to do any work when it comes to getting laid if you want. As a guy, I don't want to have to start up another text/phone game with someone and do the whole process over again in order to see where it goes when my week consists of 40 hours of school and about 30 hours of work. It's not worth it. Getting laid once a week or so keeps me in check and helps me focus on what I need to do.From your posts, she got upset cause she started catching feels; realised you didn't have them & she was just your f*ckbuddy or whatever.
Then she started finishing with you cause the situation's hurting her and she knows it's the sensible/self-preserving thing to do, but not able to stick to it cause of her feels. May as well be a fade or dump. It's what would have happened sooner or later anyway.
You didn't lie but did you lie by omission ie not making it crystal clear it was only a hook up (not that people don't delude themselves you'll change, fall for them etc. - though of course that's on them).
Doesn't actually guarantee anything. Plus std's.
A dozen times - I've exchanged about 2 posts with you about this. Would include but srsly can't be arsed finding them.
Maintain this chit is more likely with younger people.
Most females can't do only sex - she was going to catch feels and get hurt (esp. cause she'd be more likely to put you on 'older man/real adult' pedestal and cause you didn't give a fk, so you were at peak of your attractiveness) ... you (should) know this by your age.
As the older person you have more life experience and arguably more responsibility to act sensibly (in predicting and avoiding the potential cluster-f*ck situation).
Is it worth the sex? Prob. not; that's what you'd expect the older person to see more clearly than the younger.
Just my opinion, others will argue differently of course.
I just think you're less likely to meet someone good for a relationship when you're letting yourself get caught up in all this drama for the sake of some p*ssy. What's wrong with masturbation for a while lol

Also, everything you said has NOTHING to do with age at all. Women can't have sex without catching feels? Ok? How does that matter if you're 19 or 30? Speaking of which, this has happened to me numerous times before (as well as many guys in here) and it isn't age specific at all. Also, when dealing with a psycho woman, it doesn't matter if she's 19 or 50. Psycho is psycho. If anything, the older psychos are better at hiding it until the best opportunity presents itself. The craziest woman I ever dated was 7 years older than me. By far the most psycho.
I didn't lie by omission with this chick either. She asked if we could be exclusive and I said I would if certain criteria could be met (see each other at least once a week, sex every once in awhile, basic crap like that) and she agreed and then lost it on me the next day. That's when I realized I'm not cutting anyone else I meet/see out of the picture. I'm not going to be exclusive with someone who loses their **** on me constantly. I told her this exact thing too and she agreed and said "I deserve better" before going complete and utter meltdown on me this last time. I was the one being honest the whole time, she was the one who was having Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde issues.

Ask any single guy who's dating a BPD chick or a straight sociopath and they aren't all 19 years old, they vary in age ranges. Psychosis is NOT age dependent.While age is only one factor here, consider these points;
a. At 35, do you think you have or have not matured, gotten life experience & learned how to deal with your feelings & relationships better since you were 19?
b. If you had a kid and it happened to be a daughter, currently age 19, would you feel even slightly differently about a 35 year old guy dating her v's a 19/20 year old man dating her?
(If my hub heard a 35 year old man was 'dating' his 19 yr old daughter, I'd say it would take a millisecond for him to glance at the gun cabinet).
c. Human brain inc. reasoning, dealing with emotions is still developing until 25. There's a reason terms like adolescents and young adults exist.
"The rational part of a teen's brain isn't fully developed and won't be until he or she is 25 years old or so.
In fact, recent research has found that adult and teen brains work differently. Adults think with the prefrontal cortex, the brain's rational part. This is the part of the bran that responds to situations with good judgment and an awareness of long-term consequences. Teens process information with the amygdale. This is the emotional part.
In teen's brains, the connections between the emotional part of the brain and the decision-making center are still developing. That's why when teens are under overwhelming emotional input, they can't explain later what they were thinking. They weren't thinking as much as they were feeling".
https://www.urmc.rochester.edu/encyc...ContentID=3051
Yeah, this could've happened with a 35 year old woman, but it was even more likely with a still teenage girl; plus how bad it looks when people know it's a mid 30's man who's been fking her.
Shouldn't have gone there. There's the law and then there's ethics & good sense.

At my age, I either date someone my age who most likely has kids, has been divorced, has TONS of baggage, or I date someone younger who is still full of vitality and doing what they want in life. The golden age (24-28) women are damn near impossible to find because every guy who has a pulse is looking for those exact age ranges and wants to lock the good ones down. Plus, when these women hear I'm 35 and going back to school and quit a 6 figure job to do it, it's INSTANTLY a disqualification for a second date. Source: The last 20+ dates I've been on with women who are above 22-23 years of age. Hell, even the 19 year old threw that at me.
Your viewpoint is based on your own gender bias so you don't seem to understand how it works for a guy who is busy 70 hours a week and doesn't have the standard "MERICA career/house/dog/etc. I'm an outlier (and that's fine) but it also means I'm shooting myself in the foot when it comes to the dating game, especially in places like California where the rat race is alive and well.

You can maintain the argument that her behavior is absolutely out of line and disgraceful, while still acknowledge the greater probability (in reality) that 19yos will likely exhibit this behavior more than those that are significantly older.

Remember the daisygirl meltdown in here last year? She's not 19 yet the same concept still applies. People who are rich and spoiled don't understand what it's like to grow up and they don't understand what it takes to grow as a person.

I can't handle the truth? What are you talking about? I've dated plenty of BPD women, sure. I've also dated awesome women. Timing has never worked out on my part because the longest I've spent in one place (in my adult life) is 18 months or so. Try having a relationship with a guaranteed end date and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. I give people a chance when I date them. The drama when this **** happens is temporary and I mitigate it the best I can. I'm not crying in here so everyone feels sorry for me, I'm updating my logthat I started months ago so people can see what it's like for a 35 year old guy who's muscular and decently attractive in the dating game. It's a ****-show and a lot of people have PM'd me and posted in here about their similar experiences.

This is dating. It happens. I got caught just like a fighter gets caught with an uppercut. I'll brush myself off and continue about my day.

There was something fundamentally wrong with both of us to be attracted to a woman like that. If you fixed it, great, but you were never a victim. No one forced you to date her.
and, Ranger, definitely not because it seems every woman he dates is BDP. EVERYONE saw this coming, but him.

Just because you're upset about your past and not seeing what happened with your ex-wife (I'm assuming that's it) doesn't mean I didn't see this coming. I'll admit I didn't see this level of psycho coming, I assumed she would just get sick of it and then I'd stop seeing her like has happened in the past but assuming someone who's going to be a doctor (her words) is going to call me 40+ times and come to my house/etc, nah. It's all good though.

While I believe pondus' definition of 'victim' is absurd, I apologize for ascribing a label to you with which you object. My bad.

I never said, you thought you were a victim. I don't see you acting like a victim or feeling sorry for yourself at all. I was telling blue, whom thinks you are a victim, and that thinks he was a victim, that you are not.
And I am not projecting. I am not upset at my past at all. I've learned a great deal from it and I try to pass on that learning to others. A lot of posters view it the same way. Just sayin'.
You saw it coming, and didn't stop it right way, says a great deal about it right there. Again, been there, done that. The difference is, you will probably keep doing it.

Men starting thinking differently and not in a good way. Getting laid once a week or so keeps me in check and helps me focus on what I need to do.

Also, guys have loads of testorone, we literally are driven to fight, have sex and so on, as a girl you dont have a clue about the drive/desire we have, and the maddening feeling of not getting it. We truly desire it more, and get it less than girls, that is reality.

I get that as a woman I don't want sex nearly as much as a guy but I went 6 years and was fine he can't seem to go a month. I don't mean to say I never wanted sex or even male attention in that time, I really really REALLY missed it but even then not to the point where I couldn't function.

I find that so interesting. Seems impossible. I can't help myself if I don't have at least something developing with a woman of interest after like, 6 months or so. Wow.

I don't know how you are in real life but when you post, it honestly comes off as super condescending even if that's not your intention. It's weird too because you were just going on about some chick who wasn't into you and how you cared a lot more than she did. I've been in that same boat a couple times before but usually bail on those situations pretty early. My guess is that you'll probably keep doing it though. And to backtrack to psycho 19 year old. No one here (including myself) thought it was going anywhere and no one thought it was going to be a clean break. The only surprise was the level of psycho she went like showing up at my house and the 30-40 phone calls. Those sorts of predictions aren't exactly accurate although I've been putting together patterns of that behavior:
-Rich
-White
-Never had to work for anything in their life
Other than that, the level of psycho suspected from women can't be guaranteed within a couple times hanging out unless some major red flag presents itself.

Yes, I like getting laid once in awhile. It helps keep my testosterone levels in check. You see, coming from my background where I was in combat and having people try to kill me and then working in places where wild animals and people were also trying to kill me and then moving to the US and being told I'm weird and need to sit in a desk and behave like a good little drone, yeah, it doesn't quite work out. So to quell my incessant need for constant improvement, passion and focus, I get laid to bring myself back down to reality. I never should have left the military but I did. Now I'm here. And until I find that thing that brings me joy (saving lives I hope), I keep myself in check by sex once in awhile. But I hate meaningless sex and don't do one night stands so that screws it up even more.
