Definitely depends on the environment.

Driving through places like east Detroit, Flint, Memphis, etc. I'm definitely going to be more vigilant than if I'm walking around on campus. Anyone who 100% has their guard down, regardless of area, is just asking to get harassed.

I live in a condo with a concierge downstairs and it feels like a waste to me. The dude always sees when I leave, when I come back, who I'm bringing up to my place, etc. Feels a bit like a violation of privacy. And I'm paying maintenance fees for this crap? I was thinking of switching to a townhome instead, no useless amenities and personal stalker, etc. but than I talked to females and they all mentioned how they'd feel "unsafe" and how they love having the security, etc. I was like wut? Never even thought about that. As a 6'1 dude that's been lifting for most of my life stuff like this never even crossed my mind.

While i agree females are "more vulnerable" its only because your average man thinks he can over power you easily without consequences.Sorta the same way some adults will only target kids simply because its "easier"

Everyone is always constantly in danger, its all about timing and being in the wrong situation at the wrong time. You've just gotta be aware of your surroundings and prepared(aka mace/gun or w/e)

I think its testament to just how inferior miscers are socially...people seem to attribute everything to looks

abuse of the sexual kind, rape, hell most crime in general is really aboutpower. People get off of feeling more powerful than others, some will actually work towards becoming powerful people...plenty others will simply target those who are weaker.

Whilst harassment may decrease if you're not as attractive as a HBB there will still be harassment if you've even remotely fukkable (which is the case for about 70% of the female population)

My best guess is those guys were just trying to show how 'manly' they are or just dumb chits lol!
Number 1. If it's dark out or just late, I'll check every minute or so if someone is behind me.
Number 2. If its dark avoid large groups of people, especially if they're loud.
Number 3. Do not walk down alleys with hidden spots, whether dark or light srs!
Number 4. Avoid chitty areas.

Thats walking around in the city, i'd be less inclined to chit myself on a campus.

Yea most the girls live on campus. So if this is how they act on a college campus where we have our own college police force driving around 24/7 I would like to know what they are like when they r downtown.

I am like that.

Not to the point of paranoia, but I do make sure to just be aware of people around me and my general situation. Done it enough that I feel like its second nature.

Way too many idiots/azzholes that want to fuk people up for no reason. Knockout "game" and just normal robbery etc.

I think some women are a bit paranoid about it though. Only thing needs to be done is just be aware and don't put yourself in a bad position (true for all people)

Only when I'm alone at night. I'm not worried on campus in the middle of the day when everyone is around. That's a little silly. I'm pretty strong for my size so I am not too worried about having to defend myself but I can understand why someone might think theyre an easy target if theyre not a huge dude. Like I said though, on campus is one of the places I am least worried.

While I think sometimes girls get a little too paranoid about things like this, I guess it's better to be too careful than not careful enough.

A lot of them also seem to think that us men don't know what its like to have to look over your shoulder walking at night. You serious? We're not invincible. Involve a weapon and it doesn't matter how big or strong you are. I stay very aware of my surroundings walking around at night.
