I'm not anti-immigration, but I think it should be limited compared to what it is now and everyone should be vetted. I think you should have to assimilate here, not the other way around. }The problem is not necessarily even legal immigration. It's the abuse of the visas that's the real issue. Securing the border is only one step. After that we need to have a much better way of ensuring when someone's visa expires that they leave. I would never think of living in another country and refusing to learn their language or fly my country's flag.

I served with a couple guys that weren't citizens. They joined the Army to earn their citizenship. They didn't choose an easy and safe job either, they were right there doing the same chit I was. I have the utmost respect for those dudes. My stepmom came here legally before she married my dad and my mom's mom came here legally as well. Couldn't speak a word of English but learned the language right away.

For most things I think that's true, though it depends what you determine "best" to mean. The Army recently made a lot of deals for weapons/gear that are arguably the best items for those roles.

At the same time, our budget is massive and is going to get a lot bigger. If they wanted to go cheap they would have just kept the fukin M9. Cost may have been an add on bonus for the P320 (if it actually was cheaper than Glock or others, no concrete source has come out showing the price differences for them), but the external safety is what they wanted and why they ultimately chose it.

Super Bowl . . . is that today?

Don't really care much about the game anymore, unless the Broncos are in it. I'll watch some of the game today, but really have very little interest in it. It's a gorgeous day here in CO, so everyone was washing their cars and all the wash places were full . . . I'll probably go wash mine once the game starts and the lines are gone.

Like PapaB, I'll be turning off for sure during the halftime show. Phukk the NFL and pushing lefty hacks like Katy Parry, Beyonce and Lady Gaga on us. I have no doubt Lady Gaga will go full potato in some way with regard to Trump and politics. No interest in watching that.

Guys, how much do you usually buy your 9mm ammo for use at the range?

I'm thinking of getting 1k - 2k rounds of mag tech for 19 cents each (after shipping and everything) but I'm not sure if thats a good price?

That's a good price

If I ordered 9mm range ammo today I'd pay 21-22 cents each after shipping but there's nothing wrong with magtech at that price

just bought 2k at 380.46

This should last me a while, I'm trying to split the ammo and figure out how much it'll cost me.. Soon it'll be just me, the books, and some range time every other week (estimating 200 rounds per visit, that'll last me 5 months) along with seeing friends/people once a week.

The range I go to it's $13 a box of 50, I went inside of AIM and got 1000 rounds for $190 out the door. $8.95 a box of 50.
