I was picking up an incoming transfer at my FFL this past summer, it was hot as hell outside. Second hottest summer on record in NC. Went inside the shop and it was sweltering hot, well over 100 degrees, and there was this old guy I didn't recognize sitting at a rickety little card table and stool in the corner going through paperwork. I was bitching about the heat and my FFL just said "yeah man, air conditioner's broke, sorry".

I went back in there a couple weeks later and A/C was blowing cold. I asked how much it cost to fix, and he told me I came in during an ATF audit, and he turned the A/C off. And gave him some little sh!t card table to sit at and go through the paperwork. I thought that was pretty damn funny. That old guy looked miserable.

Me too. We look them over well but it's still easy to miss something a customer didn't fill out right. Not checking hispanic or not hispanic is one probably 50% of customers skip.

Neighbor just dropped off my Aero upper. Wrote Red Barn Armory yesterday asking them if they needed anything to process my order for a lower. Apparently my ffl's email had gone to their spam folder. Will be delivered on Monday.

I have to explain at least once a week you can be a white Hispanic. lol. Old guys constantly leave it blank. They also used to mess up the old 4473 constantly on "Are you an illegal alien? If no, please skip to the next question".

Intel announced that they're going to complete the Fab 42 plant in Chandler AZ, $7 billion investment.

Dammit I used to live like 1 mile from the fab 42 plant. I wish I would've bought a house closer to the plant, I guarantee property value is going to drastically increase over there in the next few years.

A funny observation that I've made whenever I'm in that part of town is that the number of Asians (Oriental) and Red-dot Indians that you'll see around town drastically increases lmao. Good for them.
