Also PayPal generally takes 3% IIRC which is a big deal, unless it is done as a "gift", but you can get into crap with them when it isn't actually for a gift so I wouldn't **** with that on big money

Haven't used Paypal in awhile but there was away to get around this by sending money as a "gift".

It is, and why pretty much every for sale ad on AR15 that accepts Paypal requires discreet/gift. I believe it's in their terms too that you can't use it for firearm related purchases.

This guy buying the boat though...Either he has a credit card linked to his account with a ridiculous credit limit that he wants to charge it to, or he's using for the possibility that he gets fuked over and he'll be able to file a case with Paypal to get his money back.

Every gun person has known this for many years.

That's why there are/have been other electronic payment services offered to 2A people/groups as an alternative, such as GearPay (IDK their current status)

state just started charging sales tax on amazon purchases - will def decrease my # of orders unless it's just a steal of a deal - which I've found less and less of lately on Amazon

I've heard that a lot too that paypal almost exclusively sides with the buyer if there is a dispute. Make him pay certified check, cash, etc.

Tell him you want certified funds, and that he can get a certified check from his bank. If he has a credit card with an outrageous limit, they will also issue him a certified check.

Banks will cash anything that looks like a check, and then demand money once they find out that it's either counterfeit or no-funds available.

I'll post a few pics when I get home if you want. I think I've got 8-10 watches, they are nothing special, but I really like all of them. I'd love an Omega Speedmaster, but it just isn't in the budget right now. Trying to save for a nice down payment on a bigger house (read: bigger garage).

Q4 bonus paid today, captain responsible checking in. Paid off credit card (had a couple of drunken pizza orders and the last few hundred from the pre election purchases) and can finally start looking at more ammo without feeling like I'm digging a deeper hole. Nothing fancy coming, probably 100 rounds of XM118 175g and another 500 XM80.

Oh, and whoever recommended Smooth Viking beard stuff earlier, thanks brah. Beard oil leaving my beard feeling silky smooth and the boar bristle brush has everything in place. Another month and it should be long enough to use the balm.

Yep, let him know paypal was a no go 2 hours ago, not a peep since. Oh well.
