I personally love the tactical look of the ray raven more than makos, but both have their purpose. I have a few divers so I can change it up based on the outfit, etc. Most worn watches for me are probably my ray and my g shock. The G shock just because it works well for working out and coaching, so I am putting it on a minimum of 5 times a week for at least a quarter of the day.
That black orient is looking hnnnng weights, good choice in nato with the sweater.

Part of me wants a watch. The rest of me thinks that there's a time indicator on virtually everything else I interface with.
Relent, do you have any pictures of AR-10s you've cerakoted or a link thereto?

It's one of those things you don't really notice until you wear a watch regularly, get used to it, then don't and are like...god dammit.
If you like not wearing a watch, don't ever start, because you'll be stuck.

Its an accessory first in todays world where we have clocks everywhere, but it stands out and can compliment your over all look, and it is a tool to tell time, date, etc. despite having a clock on my desktop and phonei almost exclusivly use my watch when i need to know the time, rather than having to avert my eyes to the lower corner or move or close a window if its full screen etc.

A good friend won't wear a watch--says his phone is all he needs.
Here's how I explained it: a man without a watch on is like not wearing a belt with his trousers. He might not need a belt, but without it, he doesn't look put together.

Any one run a RDS on a g20/21 in here? Still going back and forth whether or not i want to use one or not, its an HD gun, so don't have to worry about conceal-ability. just not sure if its worth the price as its not a race gun/cary gun etc. will prob just see the range a few times a month. also what is the accurate range for a rds like the vortex venom? If i set it to be accurate at 7-10 yards will it be anywhere near where it needs to be at 15-20 yards? im pretty curious about the single point vs having front/rear sights

A 10 yard zero will give you about a 2" "battle zero" from point blank to about 75 yards. So you're basically in bulls eye category from 0 to 75 yards without even having to worry about hold overs or unders.
*That's on a milled slide. A dovetail mount isn't going to give you that good of a battle zero. The higher the dot is above the bore, the worse your hold overs and unders will be.
Edit: That's for 9mm.
45acp and 10mm will obviously drop faster than 9mm, but you'd still be WELL within a 2" battle zero from 0 - 50 yards or so.

This what I wear 80% of the time. Case thickness is less than 7mm, majority of my watches are around that, I can't stand bulky watches.

Just got home from work, no time for the range, which sucks...had the "range bag" ready to go and couldn't get out in time.
Here are my go to watches, I've got 4 others but they are junk

And favorite pic of my nighthawk getting some sun

I've got a bunch of random natos and other straps when I like to switch it up for an outfit
