Interestingly enough, when u look at the countries where the divorce rates are high...there tend to be very specific cultural realities which contribute to the stats. For instance in Spain and Portugal, where the divorce rates are extremely high, women are afforded a lot more leeway and freedom culturally. In France, extramarital affairs and sexuality is treated with much openness and expectation. In Russia, you have a massive shortage of men and lopsided demographics. It would not be much of a stretch to suspect that the divorce rates in the US being higher than most other Anglicized countries could indeed be due to certain cultural attitudes.

Agreed with you again brah, never had any experience with online dating. Even when I was single I always saw it as a last resort and thankfully never had to resort to it. Meanwhile my friend who's the same age has been dating almost exclusively online for a few years now and I must say, he's extremely bitter towards women and "can't seem to find any good girls" despite going through hundreds of women by this point.

And it's funny because to them we're in bondage. Like our wives held us down at gunpoint and forced us to marry them under false pretense, just waiting for the right time to pull the rug out, and strip us of everything. The people who are blindsided by divorce are people who weren't paying attention in the first place. She told you she was a bullchit partner from day 1, you just refused to listen.

There's inherently going to be men with different levels of success regarding women. The issue I see here on the misc is thatmiscers are harping on specific character flaws in women and generalize based on their limited experiences, yet fail to recognize they harbor many of those same character flaws (these aren't fixed characteristics) in themselves. Women (with a healthy self-esteem) who want a stable relationship with a prospect of success aren't going to be able to find that in a guy with insecurity and a history of sexual repression. Those guys will find that it's easier for them to connect with women who have lower moral and ethical standards for their partner and don't hold themselves to a very high standard either.
There was another thread, where a poster recorded two girls talking about guys, and while I didn't listen, all I could think is "what's the big fuking deal?"...It almost doesn't even come off as miscers harping on character flaws, they're harping on normal everyday occurrences.

What do they think same sex conversations consist of when it comes to the opposite sex?

1. Hookups
2. Finding love
3. Heartbreak and ache.

The chit is normal as the sunrise. There are sl00ts, and they need to be treated accordingly, but you can't penalize women for being human.

http://fortune.com/2016/04/12/women-...t-earning-men/

And yes, women do initiate most divorces...but I am unsure if thats really much of a damning indictment on women as it is really a realization that many women in the past were likely stuck in unhealthy/abusive/toxic marriages that they could not escape from due to societal pressure

And in regards to the suicide rate...there is nothing which really supports any potential notion that it is linked to the divorce rate. There are plenty of other problems plaguing modern western men.
Would you feel the average male would have the incentive to engage in a contract with 50% failure rate, and possibility to lose half his assets?

Lack of marriage = Less nuclear family = Individuals born w/o suitable parental upbringing = Crime and mental issues (Single motherhood statistics)

Just look at what happens to men and women who were raised without father figures in relation to crime, drugs, and mental health. It's a huge problem in the African-American community.

Most miscers are too concerned about getting their phallus wet with a hot wife without grabbing hold of the bigger picture, idc if some 300lb dude who is ugly and doesn't workout is mad women aren't hopping on his cawk.

Fix marriage and make it plausible for the average man, not the wealthy.

One thing I notice about misc is how every poster is in some way responsible for all of the misc's hangups and hatred toward certain group. I'm an average guy but not a typical user. I'm not worried about getting mad lays with hot randoms and will run off the rails if not delivered to me with no effort. I'm more worried about how social norms and narratives around love, sex and dating manage, at the same time, to remove all possibility of any consequence for sexualised behaviour by women, and criminalise or demonise similar behaviour by men. Women = total sexual liberation. Men = be attractive or be rapey. It's beyond me or you or misc or left-right divide. It's a massive problem for society as a whole.

What this means, in effect, is that women will only entertain men whom they find superficially attractive which is *exactly* what men have been accused of for generations. However, it was never quite true in the case of men - we're oversexed, not overselective. Women projected the 'overselective' onto men because it's an unseemly trait and they'd rather not admit to it. We just fuked a lot - every woman above 2 is gonna find a dude to go home with. Now women are men too they want the 'male' experience, which was apparently getting mad slice at will from bevvies of only hot girls who would buy us things on the way to our houses to fuk us stupid before we picked the richest one and had babies with her.

I think it's down to hypergamy and the reasons women marry.Women tend to marry for moneyand specifically seek out wealth in long term partners, but with no fault divorce and a legal system that favours women, there is no incentive for loyalty anymore so they can happily divorce anytime and go back to chasing Chads and Jamals while their ex-husband is paying them for it.

Half of them might become bitter after getting screwed in a divorce though.

In general, I think while the misc can sometimes go a little over the top, when it comes to assessment of women, the misc is usually right.

But at the same time...

I don't do ons or anything like that. I would go as far to say I'm a traditional man. I want marriage material women, and realistically would be prepared to get married if I met such a person. I'd rather not have someone with low self esteem, and I certainly am not attracted to women that are total pushovers.

I notice how ITT there are a lot of guys who are plus 30+ talking to dudes in their early 20's not realising the game has actually changed quite a lot due to online dating and social media. You might be still dating, but as older men you have quite a different experience to us young'uns.

For all of your information, I have never had problems scoring women, not FA, maybe FA now because I choose to be, but I've completely withdrawn from trying to find any sort of meaningful relationship. I can easily pull girls when I go out clubbing etc, but this just gets tiresome after a while, and it all feels pointless and meaningless.

Had longish (1 year +) relationships in the past and nearly always women have unrealistic expectations.
brb expect me to behave in a gentlemanly traditional way. (pay for everything etc)
Yet at the same time behave nothing close to what would qualify as lady.

I'm hoping this is just immaturity so I'm taking time away from it. but I feel like I'm being a dribble when every girl seems to be out there having a good time with dudes, why shouldn't I just be smashing sloots? It's easy for me to do it tbf...

Maybe respectable Conservative/traditional women in the UK are just make belief?
99% of my dating in the last 7 years has come from online dating.

Nothing has changed between now and 1990.

It is just the manifestation of modern liberalism and feminism coupled with the disastrous affects of social media and online dating.

There is little wrong with being a virgin, srs. In fact if people do it for religious/person reasons I actually find it admirable.

It's just the people that complain about it.

I'm older so I get what some are saying about social media. The internet wasn't even around when I went to college let alone smart phones and dating apps. But the one thing that hasn't changed is human nature. People only have power over you if you give it to them. If you like a girl but she doesn't show the same respect to you that she expects from you, she isn't the one. Move on. It's not as hard as so many claim it is. The best opening line always was and always will be one word. Hi. Guys on here complain about seeing average guys with hot girls. They're with them because the guy talked to her. Women like to play hard to get but if they like you, they'll let you catch them. It's not f'ing rocket science.

Well yes. I can get on for ten minutes and get three or four new matches.

It's way more convenient. Spend 10 minutes and get to them when I feel like it.

Lmao, you're absolutely right. They look at relationships as a pot with a fixed amount in it. Once it's gone, it's gone. They fail to realize that it's something that needs to be maintained. You need to put in, what you get out of it, or it's done. Just like the v-day hate threads. Even a grocery store bouquet of flowers relegates you to cuck mode, and if you're pressured into observing some "hallmark holiday" you should leave...But if she doesn't suck your shriveled, stinky d1nk every time you want "she's not into you.", and you should leave.

A traditional relationship is about men going to the plantation for women, who then get to spend whatever the man earns in return for sexors.

Women want the same rights as men without the same responsibilities. That's why you find women that always expect men to pay foreverything, including after a divorce, despite the fact that they are "equal, strong and independent".

I think it comes from two things

-Early 20s brahs who are frustrated. Internet boards attract a very specific type of guy, usually the ones who lacks friends/social skills. Their sex drive is through the roof and they can't get anything, so they turn to all sorts of weird **** to vent their frustration. Sour-grapes stuff, about sloots, PUA, evo-psych broscience, etc. Reading these boards, you can tell who's experienced with women and who isn't, and the loudest, most vocal woman haters usually fall into the second category.

-Later 20s brahs in a position for marriage. They're looking down the barrel of no-fault divorce + losing half their assets if they do marry, and for a guy bringing home most of the money in a relationship (pry 90% of men), that's incredibly daunting. We see the same threads saying that every day, but you know what, it's true. The alternative to choosing to stick that gun to your head is forgoing a family entirely, and I think that choice brings on a certain level of nihilism. You expect to die alone at that point, and understand that your only real option is going to be smashing aging dumpster sloots till your looks give out.
