Just got my check from Remington for one of their ammo rebates.

I remember there being some question about whether people were actually getting money back back around Thanksgiving, their last rebate offer.

$150 for a case of brass 9mm... nice.

Would have bought two but I just wanted to see if it worked first.

Primarily using conceal gun as range gun a really bad idea?

Also, would you guys rather: shoot 125 rounds a week or 250 every other week?

I want to go to the range so bad, but I already had my visit last week, according to my plan I would go twice a month (every other week).

Only solution to my desire is to go every week and split the ammo I was planning on using every other week.

As promised. Opted to snag a gold cerakoted extended slide release as my shop was running a special. I love the look of gold parts. Can't wait to put some rounds down range. My Inforce APL should be here this week.

Anyone have a link to the best prices Federal HST 9mm? Need some more to fill my carry magazines on the Glock and Shield.

Shooting is fun, I'd shoot as often as my wallet and schedule allows. Keep in mind just throwing bullets down range doesn't equal skills achieved.

Personally, I'll find more things to correct and focus on going through a box of ammo and Haley Strategic's 'Feel Eyes Finger' drill.

...but sometimes I just wanna mag dump a silhouette at 7 yards.

And yes, use your carry gun at the range. It's the weapon you want to be proficient with.

Just picked up a couple magpul 12 gl9 magazines. So far so good in the feel department. Question is how do they stack up to other plus 2's out there? Anybody have any experience with these compared to others? Shooting a glock 26.

Thanks

Tested out the 50rd drum finally, the weight really isn't that bad probably won't use it all that often but it's awesome not to have to reload that often! . Also tried out the Talon grips for the p320, accuracy is getting better and snapping to different targets are improving.

Great idea.

Frequency > volume. 125 a week EASILY over 250 every other.

It's just like weight training. There are those who just "work out", and those who train with a specific purpose and quantified goals. There are those who blast away and...same thing.

Speaking of training vs just shooting, any good places to learn how to do different drills etc for defensive shooting? Handgun and rifle? I'm sure there's a ton on YouTube but I question the source there.

I go to this new range in Austin to shoot my Glock 19 and play with my small mods and this happened.

"Do you want to shoot my MP5"
"Uh, yeah!"
"Cool, go grab a box of 9s"

Guy had with him

For someone that has an AK, and a Glock, the next logical step is a bolt gun. Unless you want to have fun, then an MPX all day.
it really depends on what your priorities are, and what specifically you want.

personally, id say someone with an AK and a glock should get a DPMS 308 AR and a mossberg 590 next, but thats only my opinion.

I think reflexive fire type drills are the all around best drills you can do, and specifically apply to close quarters/defensive type shooting. You can mix so many variances into it that it's essentially limitless.
