1. long time performer music/movies
2. has the look the white/corporate america likes in back women( light skin/blonde hair) medium curvy build
3. Soft spoken not too scary radical
4. large volume and types of music
5. saw her live , incredible performer, hit all the notes.
6. family person, for the church folks
7. Royalty in the upper echelon of music folks.
8. role model for women so Adele worships her.

others will add to my list but you get the picture, Gaga is odd, Madonna is old, and no one is at her level.

The 'strong independent woman' thing is so laughable. She still married 'up' and didn't ditch Jay-Z when he cheated on her. Her whole persona is even more of a farce than most celebrities, yet idiots still eat it up.

lol @ this. most singers/rappers know that they can't make music forever and that they will eventually "fall off". so they branch out into other areas ie, makeup, clothing, alcohol, acting, finding talent/managing their own record labels. they'd be idiots to only stick to singing/rapping when they have the ability to get into other areas, make so much more and set up their family for generations.

People have an inherent need to worship.

When they cease to worship what is good, beautiful, and true; then you can rest assured they will find something else to worship.

LOL @ the idea that she is worshiped because she is a role model. I can walk into any black church and find a 100 better role models than her.
When all that says 'it is good' has been debunked, what says 'I want' remains.

ok so you're saying that because she is different than other black performers she should be regarded in a high manner? that's racist af lol.

And humble? Everything she does is so incredibly grandiose and borderline disillusion, I seriously cannot take anyone seriously that says she is humble.

No, she's highly respected among black women and black culture and that respect transitions due to her high involvement in the music industry as a whole. She's the benchmark for successful women in pop culture, and even makes songs such like, "Girls We Rule The World" and "All My Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)". Obviously women are going to idolize her.

Picture Oprah. Oprah is an independent, outspoken, humble, and highly successful black women. She speaks for and empowers black people and women, which is why so many people respect her.

No other reason then they are told to to fit in to society.

People, mostly women, are herd animals and like to be led around by the nose and told what to do.

true facts.
"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

you asked for another black female performer of her caliber, and also keep mentioning that she is not being ratchet. So you are saying that because she stands out from other black women's "ratchet" attitude, she is this mighty force? And stop saying independent and makes her own money... that's every fukking artist out there.

Compare what Frank Zappa did to supplement his music to what modern artists do. Zappa became a foreign diplomat. Made movies. Satirized entire genres. Experimented with new recording technology. The man ALMOST made the soundtrack for the original Star Wars movie. THAT is creative diversity. Not overpricing hipster shirts.

There's a huge difference between a musician and a singer / rapper. Some people just do better as hired guns, music is one of their talents but the passion is secondary to the business.

What about Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden?

- Turned down performing in the Olympics to tour with his band.
- Flies his band and their entire crew on a jet (as pilot)
- Directed movies
- Hosted a radio show
- Wrote novels / books
- Hosted documentaries

That's all way fukin' cooler than "Check out this $80 shirt sewed together by underpaid Chinese laborers." Mainstream artists are all about that $$$. The art is secondary.

Not saying she isn't talented as a singer or didn't work her ass off. But they basically turned their entire lives into a business. They air dirty laundry as marketing. They are just corporate entities whoring themselves and their talent out, because they're about $$$ first before art.

Don't be silly. I'm telling you why she is "worshipped" as the thread and OP asked. I don't even understand why this is so confusing to y'all, in fact I don't think it is confusing to you, you just don't want it to be that way so you try to make it not make sense.

Again, she is highly attractive, like model tier genetics, considerably flawless (Pretty face, beautiful flowing hair, thick, curvy, ass not too big, not too fat, tits not too big, not too small, etc, if you want to go into detail). Embraces strength and black culture by showing a ratchet side, but not a ghetto-tasteless one. Speaks for women and other people. Considerably humble towards other people outside her music. She is very talented; Can sing and dance, sing while dancing, sing live, has a great voice, is a great performer. The list goes on. No other black women involved in pop culture has reached her height in stardom. Many women inspire to be her, and celebrities (like Adele) give her that credit because it's due.

Other black female performers like Nicki Minaj that rival her popularity are tasteless in comparison, so obviously they don't get that same respect. Not even just black women, but Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, etc are raunchy. Others like Taylor Swift and Arianna Grande are distrustful based off comments they've made or drama they've been in. Even Adele, Adele shows lots of class, but she doesn't empower people, she's not as outspoken towards demographics of people.

Because buttcheeks. Turn off your TV, stop reading Buzzfeed and the bullchit on the internet. The only people that worship beyonce are virgins and young teenage girls who have no brain activity.

Probably Jay-Z too, until he nuts at least.

I am probably the only poster who knows who Frank Zappa and Bruce Dickinson are

Well, perhaps leoslayer and crupiea do as well.

Beyonce was better in Destiny's Child. I saw her concert with Jay-Z and her performances were alright. I miss Tupac and Aliayah. The whole story about his cheating and her singing about his cheating during the concert, I'm sure that is fabricated for drama/attention.

Not sure why Beyonce and Adele were the top award winners at the Grammys as compared to Michael Jackson in the past. Is that the best we have in music today????!!!
