Good to hear you've had good luck with them. I've been reading a lot of reviews trying to see if the Arlos were the way to go.
The regular arlo has some drawbacks. The big complaint is the camera takes too long the pick up motion and start recording. Some people have had a person walking through their yard and the camera didn't kick on until they were almost out of view. YMMV though. The pro system is a bit more refined and they have at least improved on this issue compared to the standard arlo.

I think the pros are still way over priced but they have no competition in the fully wireless cam market. I would expect the price on these to drop once more companies start to copy the idea

This is the best price I've seen on the Pro to date. You can get 2 cameras and 2 bases for $400. You only need one base so you could sell the extra base for around $70ish on ebay if you don't mind the extra steps.

Edit: Blink is supposed to be coming out with a fully wireless cam at some point in 2017.

Just shot my new FNX45 Tactical for the first time. Thing is a tack driver and follow up shots with the RMR are ridiculously quick:

It lets you add it but it says OOS when you look at the cart. I like them for the price though.

I get my taxes done tomorrow so that will give me a better idea of what I want to do with the G17. Probably going to use about $500 from the refund to trick it out.

I have the same one on my G17, definitely night and day. Extended mag release and extended/enlarged slide release are my must have glock upgrades. New department only uses glocks so I'm going to have to switch over from M&P crew. Thinking of getting a 19 for my new CC to replace the shield.

you should have ordered Black Friday/Cyber Monday. I paid alot less than that for mine. all Aero
Aero M5 Upper and Lower

Aero UPK

Aero LPK

Aero Nitride BCG

BCM Gunfighter CH

Aero Rifle Tube/Buffer/Spring

Magpul PRS 3.0

SLR Solo Lite Rail (15" .308 high profile)

Ballistic Advantage 18" Rifle-length Barrel w/ low-pro gas block

gas tube

KAC bipod rail adaptor

Harris BRM 1A2

Let me know where you're seeing that for under $1600.

I expect that I might find some of those parts on sale, but $1600 is what I expect it to cost. Right now I have an LPK/UPK, upper and lower and am $400 in. Not bad.

Some of these may not be in your price range but this is all I can think of right off to try:
Zev
Silencerco
Lone Wolf (Alpha Wolf Series)
Blacklist
KKM
Storm Lake
Agency Arms (made from S3F blanks and marked up higher than giraffe balls)
S3F
AAC (Brownells used to stock some AAC Glock barrels)

Can't really go wrong with any of those. They've all been ransom rest proven to be more accurate than OEM barrels.

That's almost exactly my build but the Aero BCG is NiB, and the barrel is stainless with Seekins ATC comp. You didn't mention trigger but currently it's a G2S. I'm sure I'm over $1,800 but I wasn't careful about nickel and diming it to death. And probably not counting the Harris bipod and mount or Rail Scales. And obviously no sights or optic.

I had a G2S laying around from XMas, so I put that in there. I might end up putting the G2S in my 20" AR and the SSA-E I have in that into the AR-10. This is the barrel I'm using. Right now I'm going with an A2 flashhider, but will upgrade depending on the HPA.

EDIT: When I scope it, I won't be putting irons on it.

I don't normally have irons on a scoped rifle..I put the irons on for the indoor range and stuck the QD scope on there just to keep it somewhere. If I put that bigass thing on an AR15 it looks like a monkey fukking a tic-tac.

May just order a KKM and say I'll get it when I get it.

What about a drop in trigger? Won't be used as a carry gun, only for fun, but I'm not a fan of malfunctions either way.

The slide is headed your way soon too.

Honestly I haven't used that scope and it isn't lapped, leveled, or even zeroed. I'll get around to it at some point. Any tips from you pros would be appreciated. I know it's too far forward but I probably did that to make room for the irons.

My favorite trigger combo for Glocks:
Overwatch Precision trigger, oem minus connector, polish job, and all springs factory. That will get you about a 4 - 4.5lb pull with only enough pre travel to keep the firing pin block safety working properly.
Do all the above but keep the oem 5.5lb connector if you want a little more crisp break. That will get you about a 4.5 - 5lb pull.
Some don't think the ~1lb decrease in pull weight is worth giving uphow crisp the 5.5lb connectors break is. All preference and I would just try both.

What optic are you going with?

fuark, **** is out of stock damn near everywhere...i may have to resort to buying a stripped upper and piecing the **** together

thinking of putting that AR10 build on the back burner and either doing an ar15 or just getting that ruger gunsite scout.

I'm pretty sure the FF III and Venom are identical optics internally.
They share identical footprints, adjustment locations are the same...from what I can see they are exact same aside from Venom having different glass shape and different body shape.
They even come packaged almost identically.

I will say that if I were you, I'd spend another ~$100 on the Viper.
Not that there's anything wrong with the Fastfire III or Venom, but I think the lower profile of the Viper and ability to mill it deeper in the slide makes it well worth the additional $100 or so. They are beginning to get extremely popular and we have been seeing a huge influx of slides being milled for Vipers over the last month or so.

Ike- i got the Aero complete upper 18" SS w 15" keymod/Aero "blem" lower/standard BCG/VG6 brake/Aero LPK/Aero buffer tube assembly/Magpul MOE Rifle Stock/SWFA SS 12x

I'll have to check all of invoices but im closer to 1300 for entire build(including optic+rings). I've used the PRS before and its not worth the $$$ whats so ever. other than if you're scope is mounted high as fuk (dumb af). (nitride bcg is also waste of money for your purposes).so basically you paid alot of extra money for your rifle to look cool. nothing wrong w that but you could have saved alot if you ordered BF/CM

do you feel it was worth it going w the SLR rail over the Aero version? i can't see why you wouldn't just buy a complete upper
Your Dreams are within reach

Insomniac23 goes Platinum!!!!

Nitride is a slicker finish than phosphate so it does have an advantage over phosphate.
As if you need more of a reason than the nitride BCG's are just way sexier than phosphate.
Black nitride is also a harder, more durable finish than phosphate. Plenty worth a few extra dollars.

I haven't ever CC'd a glock, but I can't imagine it would- friends do and never mention it causing any problems. It's still super small, the little knub just makes it 1000x easier to press. I know you're "supposed" to slingshot the slide, but yeah. I forgot what brand I got, but it's basically just the OE extended slide release. Was like $10 or something, super easy to put in, it's a no brainer IMO.

$11 on Cheaper Than Dirt. As you can see, not much to get in the way in a holster or anything else.
