Because that is exactly what this thread is doing.
Would rather see all gym goers that don't know how to do compounds to be "pussies" and save themselves back issues then.

ITT we now ignore OP and discuss the merits of heavy compounds.

It doesn't matter what your form is like, all compound exercises leads to injury. You can't name a single bodybuilder that hasn't been injured.

And people that wanna go too heavy before they learn. I had to drop my dl weight even though I could "lift" a lot more. My si joint would always hurt after though at high weight :/

Doing compounds with chitty form is the new "machines". All the noobs do it, yet, hardly anyone can do ATG squats, touch their chest on bench, have a neutral spine on deads.

Only thing is that machines were safer, and prevented a herniated disc.

I think the issue is more with the obsession with numbers rather than the exercise itself. Everyone wants to show that they can dead lmao4pl8 within 3 months so they can show off on ********/insta. If they take it slow and easy, there will be much less issues with this.

Form shaming needs to happen. Everyone whose back is rounded, or doesn't squat till their hips break their knees, or doesn't touch his chest during bench needs to be mercilessly ridiculed in the gym on the spot.

how did it impact your 1RMs?

I'm shooting for a 335 bench, 405 squat and 475 dead for a comp in April at 181. Current #'s are 325, 350, 420

Got some work to do.

I actually ran 37, 30, 32 (just checked) . Sadly I only tied my starting squat and bench max and didn't test my deadlift which felt pretty bad during the whole program. Now I am back on Jonnie Candito's 6 week program (and tweaking it) which I have ran several times. I don't think I would do sheiko again. The workouts were too long and infrequent, and though it was fun to try and I learned from it, ultimately the program did not work for me as my lifts stayed the same.

Running program now off lifts 380/280/415 at 150-155 BW

the big three lifts are the corner stone of lifting...they are going no where

That being said, I dont do any of them. The first 5 years I lifted, on 14 currently, I was big into them and got very strong. As I kept lifting, I started learning my body wasnt meant to do that sh*t. Loving to lift and wanting to be comfortable in my body wasnt going to happen at the same time if I kept it up for over a decade.

NO MATTER WHAT a lifter tells you, you will end up with achy joints, hips, a bad back(bulging discs or maybe slipped), shoulder pains, neck pains...chances increase more and more. Seasoned lifters who have been doing it for 10,20, or 30+ years all have aches and pains they never subside. In fact, its only in the gym do they go away.

I miss strength sometimes but there are so many more benefits to just not doing them.

When I talk to new lifters, I encourage that strong foundation though. The big three are like learning how to spell or do addition and subtraction as a child, its a must.

Not if srs. Unless you're a midget competing in the 115lbs weight division 375lbs on deads is not something to brag about srs. Pretty sure any normal male should be maxing near three plates easily and that's not far off.

Let's be real. There is no "perfect form" with compounds - only guidelines. Peoples body mechanics are different. Just don't be a dumbass is the main rule

I highly highly highly HIGHLY doubt most guys walking around can deadlift 3 plates. I think sometimes because we workout we become detached from the reality of how weak most guys walking around are. I'm a smaller guy and I'd say I'm stronger overall than 80% of non lifters in every way shape and form no matter their weight.
I woke up this morning still breathing. Might as well take advantage of it.

There is nothing special or magical about the big 3. Flat barbell isnt some special excercise that will yield greater results that flat or incline dumbells. Same with squat compared to front squats or hacks. Deadlift is great for lower back and that it hits so many muscles, but its not absolutely necessary.

Like you said as you get stronger and as you get smarter you find yourself doing the big 3 less and less. I do legs monday and friday. Im not squatting both days week after week. Thats simply not needed to grow my legs. Hacks, lunges, leg press and other excercises are just as good.

This forum has an absolutely toxic mindset when it comes to lifting. Machines, smith machine, and isolation excercises are all great tools to use in order to help you get bigger. They all have their uses and benefits, you would think a bodybuilding forum would realize this. Its no wonder some many on thi site are dyel

I tried the Candito but with my old joints and tendons it was simply too much volume without enough recovery time. The forced days off with Sheiko have kept me concentrating on stretching my achey bicep tendons which has been a Godsend for my tendonitis. To each his own I guess.

But those dangerous compounds tho

lol

dont fkn correct retards at the gym let them snap their back. It puts you ahead of them, if you show them correct form they might become bigger than you and more aesthetic.
