They just don't make 'epic' movies anymore.

The days of movies like Braveheart, The Patriot, and Saving Private Ryan. GOAT movies. Everything is computer generated now.

These old war movies are great.

Also they just added Saving Private Ryan to netflix if y'all care.

Rush, Cinderella Man, and Interstellar were pretty fukking epic in my book.

But yea it's getting harder and harder to find really good movies these days. Too many remakes.

I am a huge fan of 80's & 90's movies. Mel Gibson, Stallone, Pacino, De Niro, Scorsese etc.

That being said The Equalizer & Shutter Island are two of my all time favorites. Seriously The Equalizer is better than Training Day

Will admit there are definitely trends, and super hero stuff is popular..

But theyve definitely made war movies recently

Some popular. I believe sirge of jadotville is supposed to be good but i think theres another one too

Also, these arent the one im talking about but youve got that sniper movie and that one where the team gets stuck in a fight.. like lone survivor or some chit

Jadotville was good. Also so was the sniper movie. But im referring to epic movies with very large battle scenes.

I think avatar is a mix between star wars and dances with wolves. Curious to see how the Avatar Trilogy ends up...

Love some korean movies. Watched 'I saw the devil' recently. The chaser was brilliant. All true films...no cgi chit or cringe superheroes.
