Did anything new or interesting at all come out of SHOT? I kinda figured there would be at least some innovations or improvements in ARs or handguns. Haven't seen any showstoppers or even anything remotely interesting.

Maybe you are expecting too much, these are pretty mature technologies, been around a long time, lots of companies and people have spent lots of time and money on improvements and innovating and all that crap...talk about diminishing returns.

Set your expectations nice and low and be surprised if and when something good happens lol

I think I was expecting more in the compact pistol arena. I was playing around with my CC guns last night, and was holster shopping, and I just thought something new and smaller would be out by now. I'm sure HK is all set on operating profits but if they could make compact and subcompact versions of the VP9, those would be game changers. And not compact as in P30SK compact, I mean actually compact.

Not technically off today but I tried taking the last two Fridays off and still ended up in the office so I'm "working" at home today AKA about to add a bottle of friction modifier to my cars differential to see if that helps quiet things down a bit and then get some lunch.

USP owner checking in. The DA pull is AIDS. Otherwise pretty great gun. Though I feel like I'm more accurate lately with my VP9.

whats the da pull on that thing? is the trigger steel? I have shot a usp9 full size maybe 20 rounds or so but cant remember the trigger, and i dont think i even messed with DA. That cz i just got has a pretty heavy DA trigger i think its like 14.5# but its not unbearable, although i have fairly decent sized hands so i can get a real nice amount of finger across the trigger to pull it, its not like im just hitting it and pushing the gun all over whnile im doing it.

It's a plastic trigger and it feels like 20#. (I think it's really like 13).

Trigger is polymer.

I've never measured it, but I think advertised is 11.5. But it's a long 11.5lbs.
