To make any real money from real estate it requires waaaay too much devotion almost to the point that its a full time job which is not practical for those of us with a traditional job and in school, and everything else you listed only pays pennies at a time or is too volatile as a reliable source of passive income.

the only people I know with legitimate passive income that they don't have to work for it are guys with rich parents that gave them $20k to invest.

how is someone that is working 32 hours per week and 15 credit hours at a university suppose to make time to travel all over town dealing with real estate chit. Buying chit and fixing up a house and having to be "on-call" to fix minor problems (if you're a landlord) is impractical if not impossible.

real estate is the truth.

only issue is you need to do a boat ton of work to get there (which is FAR from passive) or have a boat ton of money to have people do the work for you (which most don't have).

A lot of this stuff seems gimmicky and have to put in way too much time and have a ton of luck to get anywhere them. Real Estates legit but if you are heavily involved it is your full time job.

I would rather do tradie side jobs that other Eunuchs that can't change a tire pay well for. I live in Mass. There is a lot of them.

He's right. A couple rental properties will yield enough to pay the mortgage but it's not like you're banking significant returns to increase your net worth.

There's no way you're making any kind of income that doesn't involve you having a boss via labor work.

you aren't working hard enough or smart enough. It takes a lot of time to set things up and most people are not willing to put in the initial investment of time money or effort to make it happen.

I've worked many extra hours over a 40/week work schedule to set myself up and I have a traditional job after I went to traditional school.

It's easy to say how difficult it is to achieve than to actually put in the work to get it. srs
