I made 30k from miscing last year, because I pay attention and keep the value. There is definitely monetary value in this thread that I can capitalize on (easily at least 10k that I'm aware of). Let the salt stay salty.

Learn to spot opportunity, and learn how to apply skills and thinking to generate monetary return. Knowledge is free, thinking outside of the box require practice, and everybody's sleeping on it being lazy.
if it wasn't for the misc I would not have ever heard of a thing as passive income, threads shouldn't be the answer to your questions, questions are best answered when you go and do the research, threads like these as you mentioned are just a means to get conversation going to spark ideas and curiousity.
Misc use to be so useful for that kind of chit.

I remeber threads like:

Essay brah
Seo marketing
eBay flipping thread
Trading thread(still quite active)
I still have yet to see a thread about index/dividend investing topics that focus around making gains utilizing compound interest which is strange cause that sort of investing is probably the easiest to get started on...(looked at trading buy calls and puts seems even too complicated for me, at least for now)

They may not all be passive income sore but they should provoke thoughts on how you can better utilize your time for maximum results. There's lots of ways to make a buck and some people just excel at particular things more than others. Use that to your advantage.

Das it mane. I actually get paid to do my investing research too, it's part of my current job, so no problem for me.

I'm not planning to fully retire, I need goals so I'll be starting a small business and purchasing some prime land in an area wealthy tourists visit that is growing rapidly. Another form of passive income as eventually I'll be managing finances only.

It sucks quality women are rare now, but men can accomplish a lot when we put our mind to it, we've been doing this for eons. I 100% would not be in the position I'm in now if I married some of the women I dated, talking about Audi this and Europe trip that and hardly any savings in their banks

Don't listen to this clown. His approach is horribly unbalanced. Rule number one is that you spread your money around into different investments. Stocks, bonds, real estate, share saves, gilts etc etc.

By the time he tries to buy a nice house in an area anywhere he would want to live, his entire net worth will go into it. Idiotic. Zero chance of retiring at 35 I'm calling it now.

I work a 9-5 job but also run a business on the side. Doesn't take too much time away from me. Usually get 3-8 orders a day, box them up at night before I go to bed and drop them off at the post office in the morning. Grants me about an extra $500-$1,000 bucks profit a week, which is nice.

Super easy to get into. Go buy a machine (if broken, easy to fix most of the time)

Find locations to put them in (family friends businesses etc)

Get a costco membership and stock them up.

I owned 3 machines when i was in college and just until a few years ago.
Why don't you do machines anymore?

Do you stock food or drinks? Did you accept change only or did you set up a credit situation?

How do you find spots to put the machines?

I found a niche product that is made overseas by a small company. It is very popular but people in the US had to order it directly from them and wait 1-2 weeks for international shipping. I contacted them and came to a deal where I wold buy wholesale from them to sell to US costumers.

I am part of a forum that actively talks about these products and I saw an opportunity in that a lot of people like it but always complained about having to deal with international shipping so I contacted the company, formed an LLC and set up shop.
