Never having kids. Get too much enjoyment out of my freedom, extra money and free time. Also can't imagine meeting someone who I'd deem an appropriate mother to my children. So it's eternal bachelor status for me and I'm pretty happy with that.

I don't really want kids, but I do want my name/genes/whatever carried on - it's a dilemma. I really enjoy having spare time, money, being able to travel, sleep peacefully, etc etc and I know once a kid is involved all of those things are taking a hit. It may be selfish but it is what it is

I think you make the choice you want to.

But I don't think you should do anything permanent about it till you're much older (approaching 40s), cos you change as you go through life, contraception is a thing and you may, or may not, regret a decision taken in your20s/early 30s

just clone yourself when you're close to death... might even be able to transfer memories by then.. im investing in biotech now so i might have an advantage

This reminds me of the reason I was initially turned down for tubal ligation. "You're only 23, you've got a good 20+ years of fertility left yet." Yeah, no chit, that's why I want it done. Would be fking pointless going through surgery when you're nearly in menopause anyway.

bey theyd do it in mexico or costa rica.. even after the plane ticket itd still be cheaper.. i know a great clinic in tijuana that will also throw in free carne asada tacos with every order

Meh technically I have 3 kids but two are my stepdaughters and my baby is my biological kid. The 2 stepdaughters were already old enough to make their own food and be somewhat self sufficient. Having my baby is a PITB but I love her unconditionally and she brings joy in my heart. I love her so much. Having kids isn't in the cards for everyone. Some people prefer money and freedom while others don't. Do what you want...not what society thinks you should do. Good luck brah.

My son will be born any day now I did not want kids until about a year ago I have no idea what changed I was always against having children.
I wish I started having kids when I was 25-27 if I could go back. 30 is about average age in my group of friends money is not an issue so the expenses of a child is not the problem.

Also its not a time sink when you want to do things for your kid & enjoy it.

21 aint knocked a chick up yet so no kids and obviously no wife

but 100% srs i would like to have at least one kid some day, if i cant find a suitable mother by 30, MAYBE 32 im saying fuk it and adopting one

I have a 5 month old Son, when I pick him UP and he looks at me and gives me a big smile, makes my day. OP, kids are not for everybody...but they make life that much more special....IMO

Firstly, lol at calling people without kids "selfish." Let them live their lives. There are limited resources worldwide and the population is swelling...

I think having one child sounds pretty good to me. Most people I know who have had one child seem pretty happy. The child is usually more mature and the parents still get a bit of a life and some free time to relax. Plus, vacations are more affordable. But, what would I know since I don't have any yet. I just know that popping out 2-4 because of peer/parental pressure seems awful. Spend every waking second of your life working, cleaning, or running around shuttling kids to events, sports, etc. I rarely see people out who have two or more kids who look remotely happy...

If they hadn't, I wouldn't be here ergo it wouldn't matter.

Nobody has kids for the kids; people have kids for themselves. It's not like the kid puts in an application and requests to be born.

As a married dude with a two year old I will admit that there are massive advantages no matter which path u take.

Having a kid Def does mean sacrificing a sht ton tho. My wife and I would be balling super hard it was just us. Wouldn't trade the kid for anything but props for not conforming to societal pressures.
