And mtor, I have NO idea at all. Doc said it's possible I got them in Japan 5 years ago and kept them a while, but not likely.

I'm not big on seafood at all, but do eat a lot of ****ty asian chicken/beef from cheap chinese places and stuff. Who knows?

Had a worm when I was like 2 or 3, according to my parents. I don't remember it obviously. Since of course they knew exactly what I'd been eating, which never included sushi or undercooked meat, the doctor's theory was that I'd got it from playing in the yard, or in the sand box at day care. He pulled it out and gave my parents some sort of medicine to give me for a while and that was it, simple.

I've had a horror of worms since our dog had pups when I was a kid and those pups got worms. I was looking after the pups (was like 10) while mum concentrated on being insane and not caring/forgetting. So I didn't pick up symptoms early enough (pre-internet). They got pretty bad before they were wormed, and after were literally chitting dead worms in clumps. You don't forget that stuff, especially when you think you're responsible.

EDIT: As above, but not quite as bad (pups were younger) and not tapeworms, more long and thin and I'm not googling the difference
