The way we perceive the world as filled with bodies and objects and empty space between them is an illusion. It's really just a quantum soup of particles and fields that on a macro level our sense organs take in as raw data and filter through the mind which then creates the reality we experience.

There are more ways to shuffle a deck of cards than atoms on Earth.
Any time you pick up a well shuffled deck, you are almost certainly holding an arrangement of cards that has never before existed and might not ever exist again.

I find it mind boggling, maybe others that hunt might, but a Mallard duck can cover 800 miles per day, and they can fly up to 70% further in formation than they would if they were alone. Also, the fastest recorded duck was clocked at 100 mph while most average about 60 mph. Ducks are neat.

The Microwave oven at it's full heating peak is hotter than the Solar core, mind was blown when I heard NTD talk about this on the Joe Rogan podcast.

How long can you live in a microwave?
One baby survived, though with severe burns to her body, in 2008 after being microwaved for 10-20 seconds. In summary, a baby will die in under two minutes but more than 20 seconds. For a full grown adult I suspect it would take at least two minutes, and the pain would be excruciating.

In subject of ants, I think they do not burn because they keep moving away from hot spots.

Cowboys QB Troy Aikman played in exactly 16 postseason games, including Super Bowls. The exact same number of games in a regular season. If you add up the stats from those postseason games alone, they are better than any regular season stat line he ever put up. Meaning, playing all good teams with no cupcakes like the regular season, Troy Aikman actually played BETTER. #stepyogameup
The cosmological constant is the fabric of what holds the universe together. It's 10^120. And if it was altered at all we would not exist.Basically proves there is a god.
SGQu562OsuE[/youtube
wouldn't go that far
also interesting is that Einstein included the cosmological constant but then figured he was wrong and called it his greatest mistake... turns out he right anyways

The way humans laugh is mind blowing. why do we laugh at funny things? why don't any other animals / mammals laugh? I know some apes will imitate human laughter, but you never see them hanging around laughing with each other in the wild.
