She loves/hates it. Says clinicals are tough and the tests are brutal however she's in an accelerated program.

Today I'm grateful for:
- This conference is actually really interesting...not just a chance to stay in a fancy hotel in the mountains.
- Good free food at the conference.
- Getting a good sleep last night.
- Spending some quality time with my boss at the conference.

In after the legend...
I'm grateful for...
My wife agreeing to a weekend trip without the kids and it's to KC for the tournament. Might even go to Phoenix for the Final Four, depending the upcoming weeks outcomes.
Being at a point in life where random trips like this can happen, and I don't stress the money.
Some time to myself for a couple days. My kids, love them to death, have driven me up the wall over the last couple days.
In laws and my mother, to watch the kids when they're acting like they have been.
The cut progress, still going well. Went full potato at Cheesecake Factory this weekend and didn't suffer too much from it

My coworker called in sick (hungover) today again and my boss offered me the early shift because I'm more reliable.
I got an erasable white board for the fridge this weekend & there was a sweet message from the gf on my way out this morning.
Black coffee followed by push day in less than an hour from now.

Today I'm grateful for...
...my last full day in the sun in Puerto Rico. Heaven on Earth.
...the laughs my wife and I had last night after a couple 22 year olds tried picking her up. Kids say the darndest things.
...water. Can never drink enough of it.

- warm weather. It's snowing here right now and I hate it. Can't wait for all this to melt and it becomes warm again. Now, all the plants in my backyard are dead. But, they'll grow back. Hopefully their will be no more snow.
- my family. Without them I'd be nothing.
- my taper of coming off opiates and getting clean. Best decision I made in my life to stop this addiction and get clean and sober. I'm so much better off now without it. My mind doesn't feel so foggy and clouded like it use to be. I can actually focus on what I want to do instead of being high all the time. It's been 45 days since I last touched a pill. Will never do so again. I appreciate so many things in life that I took for granted because my life sucked and I was in a rut for quite a while from being an addict and having no drive to be happy and successful. 45 days later and I'm a whole different person who is much more happier than he use to be.

I'm grateful for...
Layers of layers of clothes in the cold. Real cold, Mrs Ninja (single digits and wind)
Finishing up super early this week because of daylight savings. Lots of extra sun in the evening.
Vacation is five weeks away.
Some decent country music stations in rural Iowa
That cld had an awesome view at his hotel. That rusty has a great view from his hotel. Glad to see others having a good time.

Started early shift at work again today, feels great being home at 5 instead of 6-6:30.
Going to use my extra time this evening to make steak for dinner and prep some chicken breasts for lunches.
Quick cardio session I'm going to hit later followed by shower, reading and bed.
