there is no need for a powerlifter to get down to those silly bf%'s - if any of those guys i quoted did - theyd be pretty aesthetic - not saying they'd go win a BB show (alberto/matt/ronnie etc being the exception) - but they wouldnt come last - and considering they havent trained for it....kinda proves the point really

only last 6 months ive sorted my chit out (also had ACL reconstruction last July)

RE diet - lol okay if you think that - weight class sports require dieting.....if i was lazy id weigh more than 161.....

RE volume - you do realise that a bulk of a powerlifter's training is working on work capacity and volume...?? = a natty BB'r will have a pretty similar volume level to a powerlifter in the off season.... just the powerlifter is exercise specific..

Sorry you're jealous.

But this should make it even worse, I wasn't even trying and didn't even know that was an amazing squat because I didn't care. I was just adding weight slowly over time. I stopped because the bar was crushing my traps and causing huge bloody marks.

That is one reason why I post here, unlike most people who do no lifting or started yesterday.

Listen you silly, silly man. You claim you could squat 1048x3,I'll PayPal you $500 right nowif you provide some sort of proof you could squat 600x3+ raw now, or "then" with proper form that would pass without question in a PL fed.

If you can't substantiate any of your claims or even HALF of the claim like I'm proposing, then you're a sad delusional old man who's only talent is inventing creative stories.

Most powerlifters in the lower weighclasses are fairly lean, if they are advanced enough.
I honestly prefer the look of guys like Dan Green or Vince Urbank over most physique competitors.

Those "aesthetic" guys are tend to be all arms and delts with hilariously small torsos.

10/10 physique IMO:

Don't forget it was a natty lift.

Anyways, time to open up a callout thread for this to not go off topic too much?

I don't care about my squat, I am talking about being fat and strong and natural.

You are jealous because you care about it, are weak, and could never do it. Get over it, some people are different than you.

Anyone can have a 1000 pound squat.

If you are capable, and train your way up, you can do it. If you aren't genetically capable, you will not be able to do it.

I would think a bodybuilding forum might attract, out of seven billion people, some people who are really good at lifting weights, lol.

Jealous? No. I've clearly stated for years on this forum that strength is actually one of my lowest priorities.

Laughing at delusional idiots is actually something I enjoy though. You'd be entertainment for ages if you continue to respond. Don't you love how all of your claims are so easily detected as bullchit, even by your average miscer? If you're as smart as you claim, shouldn't you be coming up with better stories that people might actually believe?

You are jealous of something you cannot do, it's clear.

I couldn't care less that I did just like I don't care that I'm tall, right handed, etc it's just something I'm capable of doing, and did. You are like a short guy all worked up because people are taller. Tall people don't care after awhile that they're tall, I don't care that I'm very strong. Nowadays, I work out for aesthetics and endurance that's because those things are more difficult for me to achieve, thus a goal. I have always been massively strong so that's boring and not a goal.

The way you responded indicates it is in fact something you value.

False. I train for size not strength. If I valued strength wouldn't I be training for strength?

How about the proof that you're not just a fat guy?

He looks natty though, I know plenty of dudes as big as him that are natural. It's genetics and a long period of time training. The same reason why I have elite numbers in my weight class after only training in powerlifting for a little over two years. I get juiceheads asking me what I'm taking cause I'm throwing around weight that's difficult for a majority of average gym go-ers.

False. I train for size not strength. If I valued strength wouldn't I be training for strength?

How about the proof that you're not just a fat guy?
You need a lot of proof.

I need proof that you know how to read and think.

I said that was a good number of years ago, now I'm lean and 240. Back then I was like 260 and had a good amount of fat.

Someone should post, "I am TheAdlerian's Old fat, can confirm".

You're just talking nonsense bro.
If you want to ask me a question:
