It's true, I was there when the Autlerian squatted 1000lbs. We saw a UFO that day too, but the camera we used to film the squat and the UFO broke. It happened though, trust me.

An odd number to make up.
You can find a good number of videos of many people doing it.
Brian Shaw, then unknown, worked at my gym.

the only way i get to 1048 is 475.5 (you're putting quarter kilos on a 1000+ lb squat?) then using the exact 2.203 kilo conversion THEN rounding up.

I have been weirdly strong since I was a kid. That's why when I did it I wasn't super impressed. Like I said, the guys in the gym used to call me Superman and I thought little of it. Once I decided to look up the record, I was surprised to see I was a few hundred pounds away.

I haven't been training like that the last few years, but I'm sure they're still very good.
And, currently, I do a 10 X 20 routine that everyone says you have to be on steriods for, but I'm not, yet can easily do it.

Endurance cardio is obviously not of utmost importance for power lifters, so there is no need to worry about how the added weight will affect their running/swimming/bike time etc since they do none of that, and looking aesthetic does not provide a competitive advantage either.
Now, under all the fat most power-lifters actually would look pretty aesthetic (think an oly lifter like Klokov).
The thing you actually have to understand is something in physics called stress. Stress = Force / Area and it's measured in the units of pressure. When you bench, for example, your arms experience stress. If you take two guys with the same amount of muscle in their arms and the same height, limb length etc, the fatter man will be able to bench more weight for the same stress, because the cross sectional area of his arms is greater and this is the denominator of the equational fraction. The same goes for the squat and the legs.
Given that this is so, there is almost no reason for a power-lifter to be cut (unless he has to meet a body-weight limit), in fact it will make his lifts worse.
It's also worth pointing out that you lose muscle when you cut, so fatter guys will also likely be able to carry more muscle.

You know nothing about me other than what I tell you.
I stated that nearly all of my lifts have been top notch, so that would imply a balanced form. However, as noted, my quads, calves were worse, couldn't fit into any brand of jeans and pants were completely out, as of 2016. So, I stopped doing heavy squats for most of 2016 to be able to buy pants.
Anyone who lifts on here knows the pants issue. There has been many threads about it.
Whatever the case, people are likely to develop something too much and legs are easy since that's a very large group of muscles.
What you wrote is bizarre.

If you've ever cut by eating lots of protein and low carbs, you will feel much weaker and tired, sometimes like you want to fall asleep. If you then eat some carbs it's like you had a pot of coffee and are all charged up.
That's why many are fat.
As I've said, the non fat guys posted her are on steroids.
I have tried cell tech and it's great. You are very strong and feel great. That's because cell tech is good at using all the food you eat and turning into muscle, it's amazing. Those who don't buy cell tech must over eat to get the strength I'm talking about they are LOADED with protein and carbs.

In addition, my record squat was in 2005 when I was much fatter from working out while stress eating because I was employed by the prison system. I look totally different now and lift high volume.
If you're going to claim you are quite literally the strongest man in the world, you better have some "proof."
Note: I know you can't substantiate any of your claims, I just want to laugh at your continued laundry list of excuses, projection, and delusion. You're the best combination of everything that entertains me, basically a slightly more eloquent SavagePsychoJoe.

An odd number to make up.
You can find a good number of videos of many people doing it.

If he had followed the god of aesthetics he would be slaying girls left and right and looking great in the process.
Instead he just lifted heavy and looks like anyone else who is out of shape with dad bod
Sad

I'm actually not totally discounting Alderian's claims
If he started lifting in the 80s, got into powerlifting in the early 2000 and squatted a grand in 2005, the time line for this works out
Powerlifting in the 90s and early 2000s was all in gear. At that time, more gear was better too so we're talking squat briefs and multiply suits. Raw lifting wasn't even a thing then
If he was powerlifting then in the heavier weight classes, 1000 pound geared squats weren't really uncommon. It likely wasn't any sort of national record and went largely unnoticed because lifting wasn't as popular on the internet as it is now. If there was a video of it, its likely not even digital.
This isn't as insane as you guys are making it seem and not all that unbelievable
