That's actually pretty accurate for me. My day is:

-Get up at 7
-Work downtown, so park at free parking area and walk to the office (saves money and helps with extra cardio)
-Start at 8
-Off at 5
-Traffic sucks downtown so halfway home is my gym (normal commute is maybe 10-15min but traffic makes it 40)
-Get done about 715-730
-Sleep by midnight.
-Rinse and repeat

lmao no way im doing that **** for the rest of my life
Give or take some time, that's about right.

I hit the gym after work for about one or two hours no matter how I feel. That's the only way I can stay in shape, that and counting cals. But, most don't have the drive to do that for decades and that's why all of our people are fat and unhealthy.

There is no time to do anything.

Blows my mind how people can leave like that, everybody listing their routines, their "free" time... we have ONE life and you get 3 or 4 hours a day of "free" time... jesuschrist

you guys need to find a way to crack the bull**** code srs, there is no way ill live a miserable life like that just to fill the pockets of the one guy with vision in the entire company.
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

Most people are overworked because they are brainwashed by corporations into believing that if you want to be successful and special in this world then you need over priced cars, fancy house, clothes and electronics, so people locked themselves in a building slaving away to buy useless material things that they dont really need, and these companies make billions off our stupidity, now you can choose to be part of this or walk away and live life on your own terms.

Phuckin harsh, but I think there is truth to that.

That's one reason why I support emerging economic theories based around prioritizing automation and deep learning, for the effiecient and cheap production of good. If the 'elite' have the altruistic mindset of Elon Musk, then we could be looking at a society where the cost of living decreases tremendously. To the point where people can work part-time, and have a decent quality of life.

Most of us spend more time at work, than we do with family and friends- due to the way the economic system is designed. I honestly think the people who boast about working long hours (in and of itself) are brainwashed. Unless they are doing something that helps humanity or they genuinely love, working long hours for money and/or status, seems like an incredible waste of life.

There is a lot of toxic workplaces where people take pride in working late and you'll see some offices where it's 5:30 pm and no one wants to be the first to leave even though they're not doing anything. It's a waste of life.

Geesh. Another one of these threads?

Get over it. We all put ourselves in the position we complain from. And far as I remember. Nothing is free, and work is required for anything in this world. Even the retarded bees work and they are slaves.

Here is my schedule.

8 hour work day
15 minute commute
7-8 hours sleep
1:30 hours gym
30 cooking food.

Getting tired of these millennial complaint threads in the misc.

Get up around 10am. At the office around 11am. Leave office around 3:30pm and hit the gym by 4:00pm. Home around 5:15-5:30pm depending on workout. Relax/dinner/work/sex/whatever from 5:30pm until I go to bed around 2-3am. So I've got about 9 hours of time that I'm not at work.

And LOL @ "chores"...you still live with your parents and get an allowance as well?

There is glass half full people and half glass empty people. Work is a part of life. We as a society are not in a post scarcity, cashless world yet.. These are things most people have to deal with.

You can either learn to appreciate the little things or cry like a little bich.

For me, I like being in a routine. I live a 2 miles away from work and in the warm months I ride my bike. I also have 3 weeks of vacay that I spread around and maximize time. I usually have roughly 5-6 hours of freetime after working a full time 8-5.

Some of y'all are seriously on that millennial entitled time. Fukk, none of ya gonna make it.

I call it adulthood. Someone quoted my post and called it "cope". Sure, whatever you like, but your inability to accept reality will be your downfall, srs. You guys act like it's not tolerable. I still have my weekends and if you don't live to work and don't work for material things, then you'll make time for regular vacations and time off.

Adulthood is perpetual suffering. Once we lose the innocence of childhood, life becomes a downward spiral. Most people hate their daily routine but don't change a thing and just suffer until they die and are forgotten.

I agree OP the reality of working life is ****, my priority is saving as much as possible and going into business, **** working a job the rest of your life

I've no problem with working my ass off if its building towards an end result i.e. a successful business, passive income, more freedom etc but when you spend most your time working until old age then wtf is the point?
