She runs 3 times a week and was a volleyball player in college. I do not run, but get in sprints a few times per week.

That said, 7:30 seems very attainable in two weeks if you're able to jog a mile in about 8:30 right now with no training. Newb gains are real for cardio too.

If she consistently runs 3x a week, and runs ~7 minute miles, and your workouts are generally pushing and pulling heavy things, I got some bad news for you.
