I actually like the camera idea... I highly doubt he is going in my room but it would be nice to have a camera for my dog anyway. Gonna look into one today.

The post about him mentioning his dad pursued his mom for 11 years is pretty telling IMO. If you haven't ever brought a romantic interest around he could just be thinking that you are doing somewhat of the same, saying one thing up front but possibly concealing hidden feelings for him. People can perform all kinds of mental gymnastics to convince themselves of possibilities and perceptions that align with their desires and thoughts, and he could be thinking that he legitimately has a chance to get you to "warm up to him" since from his perspective you've never brought anyone around to show him otherwise that you're solidly not interested and you are actually looking/dating elsewhere.

Bring your guy over for dinner, and maybe ask him to hang out around your place more over the next 4 months so that WK-brah can see that you have someone you're clearly interested in and it might finally help him realize that while you were rebuffing him this whole time it was legit and not just some false resistance you were putting up to make him work for it or some bullchit

WK-brah clearly thinks he can win you over and is infatuated with you, hopefully you can make it the 4 months and get out with no issues...but like someone said I'd bet big money that after you bring your current guy over WK-brahs demeanor changes entirely.
