Like if my future wife got 1 month pregnant, tested for Hep B, came out negative... then during her pregnancy she'd cheat on me with a heroin junky infected with Hep B ... and you think everyones children should be vaccinated because of a handful of dirty slooths in the country?

Give me a scenario of how a child could become infected for starters.

So you're trying to argue that in their life there is no chance your child will ever come into contact with hep b?

People are diagnosed with asthma and other stuff all the time. People also get vaccinated all the time. The problem is then someone who's kid gets diagnosed with asthma a few months later assumes a causation with the vaccine when there isn't even a statistical correlation.

The truth is you only need a few vaccinations if any... and not at an early age. If you think that's the only way then i finally understand why you don't think it's possible for a child to catch it. Problem with that is you are wrong, and anyone who catches it under the age of 5 has a much, much higher risk of it becoming chronic than other people.

Let me tell you something about vaccines.


You should never underestimate someones desire to make money, at any cost.

I remember reading a miscer thread where his college professor did allot of research on vaccines, and what was found out was that some vaccine companies just pump out vaccines that still have problems in order to make money.

What I read was this.

There were 2 reports for a vaccine, the first report was that death was a result of taking the vaccine. This report was the first half of the trials, the second half of the trials showed there were little problems in taking the vaccine.

So what did the company do? They unleashed the krakken and sold the vaccines to the public making billions of dollars. And when people found out that some were dying because of it, the company got sued. But it was all good for them, they already made billions of dollars and even if they were to get sued for 500 million they still would make a huge profit.


Is it really that inconceivable? Whenever some new flu comes out, a new flu shot is available just like that . The media over hype it to hell and recommend every person in the United States take the flu shot. You kind of wonder how much testing was really involved in making sure that vaccine was safe. I mean, they could spend some extra time making sure that vaccine is 100% safe....but then the hype will slow down and they wont make their billions.

If you do not even believe that is possible then just lol at you.


And no, I am not talking about all the vaccines that have been out for decades that prevent small pox or whatever.All I am saying is to remember that vaccines is an industry, and some people are making allot of money, and when billions are involved then people tend to not take the moral high ground

The information with he credited sources I pasted is just about the incidence of chronic in children vs adults, but if you read the whole article it also has some info on there on how it's spread.

And if for some reason you are still only worried about hep b once your kid gets to Jr high, don't worry, their vaccine will still be in effect.

Vaccines should be government mandated.
I don't disagree per se but trying to mandate against stupid does not tend to go well as a rule. It's a tough one for sure. Crackpots will always exist. I think most school systems and such require proof of vaccinations to attend, at least did when I was a kid. Crackpots more likely to home school too.

I spammed that "garbage" because you asked for scientific proof...You also appeared to be asking about the proof of it being vastly more likely to become chronic in childhood, not how the kid got it in the first place which I thought we'd already covered, but ok.

Children catch it the same way as everyone else, through contact with the virus, which can survive a week on dry surfaces. When it comes to kids there's obviously a million different ways for this to happen, but for an example, a child with open wounds on their fingers because they bite their nails accidentally comes in contact with a sore on an infected childs arm, or something that that sore has touched on in the last week.

It would be impossible to list all of the possible ways kids can come in contact with each other's bodily fluids especially when you count the fact that it survives for a week so they don't have to have physical contact with the person.

And, yet again, the infant immunisation doesn't just cover them as infants as you seem to think. As I mentioned earlier, I'm still immune from mine.

I don't agree with mandating, but I do think everyone should get vaccinated.

If you don't get your kids vaccinated, we should put prohibitions in place against them attending public school unless o e of the following is true: there is a documented medical condition that indicates vaccines should be avoided; or that the person has a documented religious belief that prohibits medical treatments of any sort, or those treatments that use the same method of application as the vaccines. In other words, if someone's religion prohibits them from going to the doctor at all, or having an injection of any sort, then they get a pass.
