TBH english people tend to be pretty deluded. Tonnes of people think their little piss holes are actually great places.

The only really objectively nice parts are London, Manchester, Bristol, Brighton, York and a few others in the home counties and the green belt.

People in this thread are sitting here claiming chitholes like Liverpool (a dump that the Tories abandoned long ago) and Newcastle are nice places to live. This is objectively not true.

Southwest London has become heavily gentrified. The working class and the immigrants were pushed out and replaced with wagecel middle class poofs who think they're trendy because they work in some non-profit for ****s.

Plenty of places in the South East (Forest Hill, Sydenham, Crystal Palace, Greenwich (seriously, Greenwich is fantastic), Docklands) which chit on South West all day and offer far more bang for your renting buck. Thats not even including North London either.

Offset has a point. Anything outside Liverpool city centre is pretty shocking.

Uhhh exactly. Nothing but young ambitious 20 to 33 year old hanging out 7 days a week in Clapham commons and hyde Park making the best of life. The only "cringe trendy" Area I saw is shoreditch who all come off as try hard Parisians.

See that's the thing though. I'm a true blue bogan from a heavy working class background. So it honestly wouldn't even bother me. I prefer girls with a foul mouth and ones that don't really care all that much about class, status or money.
People from liverpool just seem like Australians and I like it.

I am using tinder in Brum and all the uni students have pissed off for easter. Jesus in heaven its like something out of the hills have eyes.

I think one of the better places in the North is definitely Manchester and Cheshire. Its where the "nouveu riche" of England live, so whilst the women are not as "refined" as the southern gals...they put a good amount of effort into their appearance and it shows. Fake tans and fake tits galore (if thats your thing)

The only thing that does kinda worry me is that Brexit (which I thoroughly support) may lead to a drop in the influx of southern/eastern european hot sloots into the UK.

NO.

Shoreditch is one of the dopest parts of London, u need to see it in the summer. I longed for it on Saturday when the weather hit 25 degrees. Tons of nice bars which actually attract all kinds.
Whilst I understand that the young, ambitious, poofter, Buzzfeed reading crowd can be nice in small doses...they really do start to get insufferable once u spend any amount of serious time with them. The worst ones are the vocal remainers who cant wait to tell me how "racist" northerners are. Christ, always want to slap em.

The girls are hot though so I guess there's that.

It weird considering the region doesnt really have an identity. Birmingham is more of an urban sprawl than an actual city...it lacks the buzz of Manchester/London and doesnt really even have a soul. I have been seriously contemplating avoiding buying a house here altogether and just sticking to the London property market.

I think there is a reason London is more popular than a lot of other places. We get down on England a lot but I think its definitely one of the better places to live in Europe....especially when weighing up cost of living, economic opportunity, things to do and stability. Weird how people always complain about it and yet flock here constantly.
