So if you carry 124gr +P Gold dots, it's a good comparable round to train with. That's what I was doing (I carry 124 +P gold dots), but I want to save $20-30 per case by going with the CCI Blazer 115gr because I been going through a case per month (roughly).
Also, IIRC; Angus Hobdell (CZ Custom) was telling me something like the bullet weight will make a difference in accuracy depending on your barrel. I might have made that up in my head though, but I know a lot of USPSA Production dudes reload their 9mm with 125 or 130ish grain projectiles.

Might have to change those glock recoil springs every few thousand rounds though...hehe

I still haven't got around to reloading, I really need to to save money, just haven't ponied up to buy the reloading equipment.
That being said, every week I see at least 2 or 3 shooters have malfunctions with their reloaded ammo. Nothing catastrophic, mostly just failure to feed/eject or dud rounds. They're probably just retards with reloading, but I can't remember the last time I had a non-user-error malfunction with either Speer or CCI Blazer (both are actually from CCI lol).
I've also seen some guys' custom loads that sound like mouse farts, so soft I question if they meet minimum power factor.

Of course, we all know that reloads in general fail at a disproportionately high rate when compared to factory ammo, but everybody who reloads is experienced andtheirreloads are as good as or better than factory lol
That laxammo website is a POS BTW it says it applied my fee ship code but continually charges shipping of $22 on checkout

laxammo gets me $10 shipping and only takes 2 days, but that's because I'm only like 6 hours away from them.

I've never ordered a 1k round case of pistol JHP. I really should sometime...it's not really that much more than 1k round case of decent FMJ 5.56 for crying out loud

Pick both. So nothing "Competitive" haha, but my ammo isn't the thing holding me back from being better

I got the CZ back in Jan 2016. Since then I've averaged about 3 of the weekly steel matches each month. About 10 USPSA matches. I've done my personal training about 10 times since Jan 2016. I did a Frank Proctor class and also a Pat McNamara class.
Here's a good estimate:
Code:+--------------+-----+-----+-------+
| Match | Num | Rds | Total |
+--------------+-----+-----+-------+
| Weekly Steel | 45 | 200 | 9000 |
| USPSA | 10 | 250 | 2500 |
| Training | 10 | 400 | 4000 |
| Classes | 2 | 600 | 1200 |
| | | | 16700 |
+--------------+-----+-----+-------+So probably about 17k through it in 15 months. I've done 0 maintenance other than some light cleaning. To clean it I just field strip it then spray it out with brake cleaner lmao, trying to keep the front sight fiber optic away from the brake cleaner. I then relube with lucas gun oil.
I'm pretty sure there's a part or two I need to replace about now. I want to say the slide stop, and a trigger spring or something... I'll need to ask the CZ Custom dudes.
EDIT:
Reestimated with weekly steel being average of 200rds, and USPSA being average of 250.

You could probably just start off in Limited with your M&P. I bet the Apex trigger is legal for Limited. I'd just start off in there, just start off using what you got to see if you like it or not. Then if you do, you can try different divisions.
There are guys at my range that have $4k+ open guns, nice single stack guns, production guns, limited, revolvers, etc... probably like $20k+ in the handguns alone.

I feel like I still suck, but then I look back and see how much I've improved. I really need to start doing dry fire practice twice per week for 30 min each to step up my game... so a measly 1 hour/week why don't I just do it? LAZY, that's why.

Once I get the tools to clean the brass I have, and pick up some primers I will be set. have probably watched 30 youtube vid's on reloading and will probably watch 30 more before I actually start... Pretty excited about it though, once I figure it out with the 300 blk I will get dies for my 9mm, 30-06, and 300 wsm.You will save a ton and have fun doing it. I have a vibratory tumbler and it works good enough with lizard bedding (walnut hull media at a cheaper price). If your a real shiny case snob a lot of people have good luck using the harbor freight rotary tumbler and using stainless steel pins from Amazon and wet tumbling. I don't need my brass to look like new, and walnut media in a vibratory will do the job faster with fewer steps.
Use good loading data and working up loads and you will be impressed when you find the sweet spot for each gun. I buy finished brass (swaged) from tactical brass in FL. All Lake city and cheapest I have found for the quality. I'm lucky enough to have a nearby range where an old guy pics ups, sorts and tumbles the range brass and sells it cheap. I have also bought brass cheap on Etsy but you have to find the right deal. Good luck. Reloading is the only way to go IMO. Even 9mm is about 1/3 cheaper than the best deals you can find. Get into .45 and .44 and it really adds up.

Oh yeah Farley1324,
A few weeks ago I met a GM Production shooter (and he was shooting CZ 75 SP01 master race), very nice cool guy. He was so nonchalant about his ammo, he just buys 100rd boxes of winchester white box or federal from walmart lmao. He was 10/10 operator skill though.

I think the pmc and blazer are a little cleaner than the white box but they all run solid.

I think the pmc and blazer are a little cleaner than the white box but they all run solid.
Sick gun, shows $1299 in my cart though. I'm sure it's discounted since everyone is throwing away their keymods for mlok special ops master race now.

Edit: I assume all 17k of that is thru only about 3 or 4 mags too? If so, new mag springs probably wouldn't be a bad idea at this point either.
