we know. it also comes with a metric fukton of upkeep, and commitment. you get equity, more square footage, and a lower monthly payment. opee gets an absurd amount of flexibility to move or do whatever he wishes, be within walking distance (as opposed to 20 minute car distance) to centralized hot spots for single people and less square footage to look after. I just don't get why the "you know you can get an ENTIRE house for a lot cheaper" crowd can't use their infinite wisdom to see why a younger single guy wouldn't want that.

Man if I were you I'd jump
edit: wait, this is a styling choice in America? Man you guys are so devoid of a culture you're trying to invent something that looks "cultured" and has "personality" but really just looks like you vaguely read a book about a place with a culture and didn't really understand it but figured you'd give it a go anyway

wow two pages and no one asks if he has a balcony, how soon we forget....
Must be nice to live downtown for less than 3000 dollars a month, guessing I could live like a king in Texas. But it's too ****ing hot for my fat ass.
Nice place though buddy, except the furniture. Looks cool, but also looks uncomfortable, but I'm guessing you don't really use it.
