Shield magazines are back for 9.99, bought 2 more so now I can have 100 rounds ready for the range and keep the 2 magazines with hollow points for carry accessible without having to unload and reload to shoot 100 rounds at the range.

Is it bad to not cycle the magazine with EDC hollow points? I would keep 2 filled with hollow points on the sIDE and use my other magazines for practice

Only let me order two though.... Tried to add 4 originally... "sorry not enough in stock" message or something.... 3 nope.... 2 yeup..... Whatever. Still happy. Ayyyyyyyy. Now it's showing out of stock. Guess I really got the last two. Just in time.

And generally it's the loading/unloading of magazines that wear them out. Keeping them loaded doesn't mess with them.

Farles did make. Good point though right after this.....the difference in round capacity between the shield and 26 is pretty minimal.

This is another reason I bought the M&P9c over the 26 and FN9c. It's the exact same size as the 26.....and holds two extra rounds.

Got the Apex Flatty and FSS kit installed last week, and shot it in league for the very first time on Thursday.

The FNS9c holds 12+1 even with the flush mag BTW. Problem is a 12+1 G26, whether Glock or Magpul magazine, gives a better full hand/three finger grip than the FNS9c does, you need to use the pinky extension mag on the 9c to get a full solid grip...but then that's pretty much how everybody carries the M&P9c anyway. For a 9mm 12+1 concealed carry gun you just can't beat a G26 IMO

ETA: I only carry the shield with the flush 7+1, basically, because when I carry it I wantconcealmentso I'm not using an extended mag and making the grip longer. I always carry a spare mag for it though, which is nice, there are benefits to a spare magazine beyond added rounds...that little single stack 7-8 round mag carries so much more easily than a fatty double stack especially in the summer weather
